Jakobi Meyers a good bet to lead the team in targets, receptions, and yards

Bourne has shown some YAC ability this season so far. Looked decent on a reverse to if i recall correctly.

hopefully that keeps up. He had one decent cut back last game

Exactly. Here are the snap counts on third down over the last two games, he's been out there on 86.4% of them:

Yes. Absolutely. I think a bigger question is Bolden the only guy who can do this, and why deem Michel expendable if you won't play Stevenson or Taylor at all....

I feel like multiple examples now are piling up where organizational planning decisions haven't been fully congruent. I'll maybe summarize it sometime later this season. This has nothing to do with BB, I think he's the greatest ever, but it does speak to the staff around him....

I know it's not as easy for some but they also run the same routes. The rest of the backs are basically only getting dump offs in the flat while White and Bolden run actual routes. This has the same when Brady was here too.

Not saying i like it or not but it is what it is.

It's interesting, they had Smith at the FB position a couple of times in the first half yesterday, but I don't think he had a snap there in the second half.

This was early in the second QTR down near the goal line:

I just looked again, he didn't line up there at all in the second half. I thought maybe it was a goal-line thing, but Johnson was in on the series in the 4th QTR:

No, it has nothing to do with the staff around him. It has to do with the fact both Stevenson and J.J. Taylor each fumbled and ended up in the doghouse. Obviously, when they made the decision on Michel, they hadn't planned on that happening and both of those players briefly fell out of favor. And they also likely never expected White - who has been consistently healthy - to go down with a season-ending injury. Bolden is reliable and they trust him, that's why he's in there right now. Even if some of us aren't thrilled about it.

I love you - but you need to stop looking for conspiracies where there isn't one to be had for the sake of feeding your narrative. Again, I know how you feel and that's OK - but mentioning it all the time and looking for additional things that aren't there isn't going to help. The best you can hope for is that someone else thinks he's great and hires him because he isn't getting fired anytime soon. ;)

He had like 10-15 snaps a year through 2018-2020. Half as many already through 5 games.

It's still early with new pieces everywhere. I'm expecting improvements but not overachieving or an explosive offense until next year. I think this year is all about seeing what Mac can do himself. Seeing what Mac can do with this group and tinkering where we can. Don't see us spending much more until 2023. Think that might be the "push" year where we make a few moves if Mac keeps progressing.

Got you. Do you mean total snaps at FB, or did the Titans even use him there in their offense? I haven't gone back through their game film, so I honestly don't have any idea.

Roy says Romeo, who he loves, is complaining, whining, *****ing, pissin and moaning. You might have me confused with the Captain. Do you love me as much as the Captain? ;)

There was the "as much as Earl?" reference I was throwing at you on that one - made me think of that clip when you posted that :D

Michel never played on 3rd down passing situations. Bolden would likely be playing even if Michel were still here because he excels at the most important function, blitzes pickup.

Stevenson or Taylor have been active each game as the Harris backup. That was the choice, keep Michel or use one of them.

Agreed. Michel was almost never even targeted as a receiver, and I don't even think it was until late last year that they even started finally doing that with him. He had supposedly been good at it in college but that never translated over into the NFL.

Yea Titans used him 10 total times in 19 and 16 last year. Sometimes "FB left or right" Screenshot_2021-10-13-20-39-16~2.png
