OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

So 5 games in the Bucs look to have the best path for the #1 seed. The NFC West will beat each other up, Greenbay plays the NFC West and AFC North so brutal schedule, and they have the tie breaker vs Dallas

Any other QBs at 44 that were mvp frontrunners?

For these purposes, it's a good thing that they have that tiebreaker against Dallas, because Dallas has an easy schedule moving forward.

Fournette worked out with AB during the offseason. It shows. Much better receiver.

how will the tiebreaker work against the Cardinals if they win the NFC West and tie the Bucs in record?

Bucs #3 based on conf. record. That'll obviously change.

KC on outside looking in behind PIT & Pats. Lol

Nah he better than Cam in lots of ways. He needs to be patient and take what the defenses gives him.
That's sort of what I mean when I said that he needs to improve his game. It also won't get any easier as cap hits and draft misses start to affect the team.

I see Bucs going 14-3 loss vs Buffalo and a loss vs the Saints....unless they clean up the penalties. If they are more of a clean team penalties wise, I do see them running the table

He's been an NFL starter for 3 seasons. During those 3 seasons, he's reached the conference title game all 3 times. He's reached the Super Bowl twice. And he's won the Super Bowl once. And, if it wasn't for Tom Brady, he might be coming off of his 3rd consecutive Super Bowl win.

Cam Newton never even dreamed of being that kind of QB.
Quite right. But maybe this is the year he becomes like Cam Newton.

He's never had to play while being the underdog and he has an uphill battle against 3 quality division rivals.

The Saints interest me. They've still got plenty of talent, and Jameis is a very talented QB. I absolutely could see them splitting with the Bucs.

Denver's got Vegas this week, so one of them will be dropping back. The following week, Denver's up against the Browns, and Vegas plays the Eagles. That should help the Chiefs, who should (repeat should) beat both Washington and Tennessee. Both those teams have defenses that are really struggling.

But the Chiefs do have a schedule that could end up really biting them in the ass if they don't turn things around, and soon.

He might be the best deep ball thrower in the league or ever. It's very good to see. He can't throw anything intermediate with any kind of accuracy though. He's still a great QB though and ya I'd be very happy if we had him. I'd prefer Dak though and I know that sounds crazy.

No, it isn’t crazy at all. Dak hangs in the pocket…it was impressive against Tampa. He can make every kind of pass. I’d definitely take him over Wilson. Dak has a strong argument to be top 5. Wilson no longer plays at that level.

The NFC west don't look so tough anymore. Wilson is out. Garrapolo can't stay healthy. And Lance hasn't impressed.

Out of the legit playoff teams of Dallas, Green Bay, Rams , and Cardinals, I'm going to pick the Rams to beat Cardinals in a rematch and the Packers.

Bucs are running the table in the division. Brady is importing his AFC East death march ability.
And running the table in his old division too but the match vs. Bill's could be a dozy.
