Lol asking Bill questions about the biggest personnel decision of his career was "cringey"?
Not the questions itself. but the way they were leaning on what was implied was . At least to me. Curran spent the last week in tampa. Had his dad on. Spoke to guerroro so its not like he is asking questions for getting any answers he will actually believe.
The answer curran is looking for is bb to say - we didnt build a good team around tom to stay. He is never goign to get that.No coach or GM will say that. But he keeps badgering at the same thing since last yr. He is clearly angling for a Biography Book on brady.

McVay had a great plan. That being said, Brady had a great game but they had too many drives end with drops. The possession at the end of the half was a killer with the penalty and then the stupid fumble rule that you can't advance the fumble the last 2 minutes of the half or game.

Not advocating for or against the rule, but for some context on why it exists, this video does a good (and funny) job breaking it down:

It reminds me of the origin of the rule in MLB that if you foul off a bunt with two strikes it's a strikeout. Because there was a player who was SO good at bunting, that he could foul them off indefinitely and was forcing either a walk or a 30+ pitch at bats.

Pats need to switch to 2018 mode. Run the damn ball more effectively.

That offensive line and TE group was lightyears better at run blocking. Without Trent Brown this version of the line looks pretty average to bad run blocking and Jonnu Smith looked like he had no idea what the hell he was doing out there yesterday while blocking.

Sure. But it is still a better option to work on than having Jones throwing 40+ times a game.

That will certainly help. I heard that Brown has a little bit of a set back earlier in the week and they kind of knew it was a long shot for him to play yesterday, hoping this week he can suit up!!!
calf injuries are tough... they should have put him on the IR tbh

you almost have to plan to throw the ball... the aints and bucs d are similar in terms of their ability to stop the run...

His pass blocking was pathetic.

His pass blocking was pathetic.

His entire game was. I can forgive a lack of TE production from our new guys so far, given we're rebuilding an offense with a rookie QB, but poor blocking, hilariously bad hands, and penalties just make him a huge disappointment thus far. Long way to go, and I expect him to play better, but so far the return isn't good.

With both teams losing in week 3, there might not be as much buzz about this game as we thought. Let's see. We need to get a win very badly.Hopefully, Trent Brown and Josh Uche will be back. I am not expecting James White back anytime soon, but hopefully, we'll hear something this week.

Please no trolling in this thread, I know there are a lot of passionate posters on here about both Bill and Tom, please let's not make this thread about that. Let's discuss this weeks game. Tampa I am hearing is coming in a little beat up, something to monitor.

Let's discuss!!!!!
we are rebuilding and Tom is coming back to prove a point. This is not going to go well for the good guys

I gotta say I didn’t expect your trolling gimmick to switch sides.

the difference is I won‘t be cheering for #12 just so Belichick is humiliated, like some posters here…

Patriots' biggest point spreads as underdogs at home under Belichick (2000-2021):

-11.5 points (2001 vs. Colts)
-8.5 points (2001 vs. Rams)
-7 points (2020 vs. Ravens)
-7 points (2020 vs. Bills)
-5.5 points (2021 vs. Bucs*) *opening line

How many of you would be pi$$ed off at Brady if he came in here and ran up the score, let's say he hung a 60 burger on us? I know I would lose a ton of respect for him if that were his plan...

He's going to try to get 100 if he can no doubt about it. Same logic applies as when we did that to other teams like in 2007. Don't like it then play great defense and stop him.
