While Spikes was over drafted, he was a very hard hitting run defender who was also wasted with terrible front 7's. Great run blitzer.

I want to throw him in there as well.

I love Spikes. He was an animal between the tackles. Loved watching him play. Limited but so fierce.

To refresh the board's memory, the Raiders picking Clelin Ferrell was kept close to the chest of Gruden and Mayok. They sent the FO home early so nobody would leak who they would pick. Absolutely pathetic draft pick.

potential of next year/2022 or 2024 ... we have a yet to be determined afcw opponent on the away game docket in both those years... otherwise the raiders come to gillette in 2023 iirc
