Same can be said about this pre-season.

Mac made a strong case for being good now and IMO lots of future potential.

Cam IMO looked better than last season, but still IMO struggled to move the offense consistently.

Once Cam got behind on down and distance, the offense struggled.

I can only imagine how the coaching staff felt on 3rd and long with Cam in the game: not this sh!t again...

1. Not as good as Mac
2. Not a good system fit

The only concern is this means Mac needs to take on Brady but maybe its a good thing we aren't going to coddle him

I don’t normally like to make things about this, but Cam not being vaccinated definitely may have been a significant factor.

The protocol for unvaccinated players is still pretty wild with the 5 day quarantine window just from being exposed. Cam could be hopping off and on the list all season, which would make him extremely unreliable.
