OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

The #Bucs are releasing DT Kobe Smith, source said. A part of last year’s Super Bowl team on the practice squad as a rookie.

The #bucs achieved something during training camp and the preseason that we all knew could impact their chances of repeating. Now they’re in an even better position than a year ago at this time. My report on
@nflnetwork

Devin White on Aaron Rodgers on third down before the field goal late in NFC Championship Game: "That play they say he could have ran? I'm standing right there in the end zone. Do you think Aaron Rodgers can beat me to the end zone? No, sir."

Man the Bucs are gonna move Heaven and Earth to keep as much as this team intact together for another couple years.

Evans is the restructure needed to have enough space to make in-season moves (OTX currently has the Bucs with less than $200k in cap space). It was pretty much going to have to be either this or an extension for Jensen.

Because it's Mahomes, he was injured and his online was hurt. They improved their Online and will be the best team because they improved their one weakness.
They are still the top dog in the AFC, but teams are starting to figure out how to slow them down. Until Mahomes gets some patience and not try to go for the jugular on every play, he will lose to a Tom Brady led team.

Their running game is also questionable.

Assuming health, Bucs Chiefs will be the first rematch in NFL history since Bills Cowboys.

Not sure where Sports Illustrated is getting 6 losses from. Unless they think an injury bug hits.

Buccaneers 2021 Predictions
11-6, Division Champions, 4th seed
Beat Saints in Wild Card
Beat Packers in Divisional
Lose to Rams in Championship

Chiefs beat Rams

I’m still waiting for that sexy Colts-Eagles Super Bowl they picked year after year in the 2000s and the legendary Packers-Broncos GOAT Bowl that was inevitable from 2012-15.

Looking forward to the Matthew Stafford experience in 2021.

The week 16-18 stretch of Panthers-Jets-Panthers looks like a great opportunity for the offense to get hot going into the playoffs similar to last seasons Falcons-Lions-Falcons.

Looking at the schedule, I'm predicting anywhere from 13-4 to 15-2. Not going to predict any team to ever go undefeated.

Looking at the schedule, I'm predicting anywhere from 13-4 to 15-2. Not going to predict any team to ever go undefeated. Furthest I've ever gone was 15-1 with the 2017 Patriots before Edelman's ACL injury, and I think they could have done it if he was healthy.

It’s remarkable how few games seem relevant to their postseason aspirations. No Packers, no Seahawks, highly unlikely any NFC East team competes for a top seed, Rams might be good, but that division will beat each other up.

Yep.

Saints, Falcons, Panthers have zero shot at the NFC South title. Saints could surprise some people this year but their ceiling is a 6 or 7 seed.

Packers continue to be overhyped every year since 2011. They could go 15-2 or 16-1 and I still would count on the Buccaneers or an NFC West team taking them out in the playoffs.

NFC East is a joke and the team that wins it will likely be the 4 seed.

NFC West teams will cannibalize each other all season, so highly unlikely any of them have the record to get the 1 seed.

Tampa by two touchdowns easily even at full strength Tampa can Atleast slow down KC offense. KC has no chance slowing TB offense under if they are healthy, Godwin/AB would run wild on them that’s before getting to Gronk
