TI would like to see Uche at the ILB position in specific situations. I think his rare athletic needs to be on the field at any down. It's too much value to just play on third downs. I agree with the ILB rotation. Bentley looks better according to resources so he should have a safe spot if no one else excels there, at least for an early down run stopper this is fine

Edit: i did not read your Hall response before i answered. Hall actually made me more confident than Bentley last year due to his better athleticism. But this is an area where bentley supposed to improved so i think it's tough for hall. Maybe PS if he is healthy
The idea of Uche playing on the inside came to me early after seeing how successful the Bucs kid did last season. I think he is the perfect combination with Hightower bringing speed and athleticism to go with Hightower's power. That being said, if they DID end up doing that there WHOULD be a learning curve for Uche, but I think it would be worth the wait. I think Uche (wherever he plays) is going to be a special player. I think he would be involved with more plays in the middle.

That came from strictly eagles beat writers
Not quite. I saw an article from one of the Patriots beat writers this morning posted on this site which said the same thing. The difference is the Eagles writers represented it as total domination with no positive moments for the Patriots, when in reality there were some good plays on both sides with the edge going to Philly because of our passing game not clicking.

Yeah, I mean if you're comparing Hall with Bentley there's not really going to be a correct answer unfortunately. I wish we had addressed the position more substantially than just taking a cheap flier on McMillian, but it might just be the case that the team/league is moving in the direction of keeping less of this type of player and having edge players and safeties fill certain roles a dedicated ILB used to.
the idea could be that Bentley Hall Jennings etc have one more year to prove and learn from vets like HT, KvN and next year we have McGrone basically as a rookie who showed much more athletic and speed during his career in michigan at the ILB position. Dugger and Philips are good run stoppers as well for a safety i would say

Evan Lazar also said it in his postgame podcast, and I think Curran might have as well (not positive on that)? Some of the Eagles writers definitely went over the top with it, and as always in training camp you can't always trust what you see, but it wasn't just the Philly shills that were saying it.

I agree. He has the most potential/upside from all the guys under their rookie contract like wino jennings etc. I hope he has a significant role next year. The ideally 4 edge/LB guys for me would be judon HT KvN and Uche as starters. Give much versality power but also a speed element.

I think those guys (Bentley, Hall, Jennings) might be on their last chance. Bentley seems to be making the most of it based on camp reports this year. If Hightower and KVN stay healthy, we should be fine at ILB, especially because of the two safeties you mentioned. I don't really like Dugger as a safety (yet), but I love him as a linebacker. Phillips can do it all.

"they won the day"

But apparently couldn't stop Harry and had guys like Judon and Bentley with pick 6s on their starting QB.

Are you saying it's impossible to lose if you get a pick 6?

I kinda love Dugger esp the type of player. Stout against the run, good hitter in space, solid option as an extra blitzer and can cover TE/RB/taller WR. Especially his versality and 3 down ability is a nice combination. I hope he improves his coverage. The small plays we could see so far i thought he did good.
