been looking for Celtics Summer League games to watch but cant find when the Celtics are on. I'm not in N.E. so i might be out of luck. I did hear/read/say highlights for Yam. Everyone seemed to be real excited over this guy.

Lakers vs Nets or next season is a bust. The previous season's playoffs was absolutely horrendous.

Amazing how many of these NBA players are getting injured these days. No wonder older players have little respect for them given they either don't want to or can't play defense.

Yeah, well…..if you haven’t noticed, the NFL has gone through the exact same softening.

In both leagues, athleticism and offense has taken the front seat. The NFL has become much QB dependent….problem is now that there aren’t enough QBs

I was too young, but sports are always at their best when there are actual rivalries. Everyone are friends in all sports these days.

Late 80's is when I started watching. I'm 38 years old. I had Jordan 5's, Reebok pumps when they first came out. Best shoes ever.

i graduated HS in 80. all i did was watch and play hoops the entire decade. i had the pumps and i loved the black converse weapons.

They absolutely were better quality back then. I played a lot of hoops. Organized and pick up. I was very particular with what I wore because i played so much.

I was thinking the same thing. Expensive shoes feel and look pretty cheap these days.

They came out with the converse weapons again a year or two ago. And they were not the same at all. They looked similar. But the original weapons were much thicker and heavier than the new ones. They could take a beating. I had to wear a sturdy sneaker or i would sprain my ankles all the time.
