You're right about Hall, I kinda forgot about him...Still wish they had re-signed Damiere Byrd for the short money Chicago gave him if this was all they were going to do at the position after Agholor & Bourne.

Dolphins have nobody to blame but themselves signing an overrated CB in Byron Jones to more money than one of the best CB’s in football. It doesn’t get more idiotic than this.

I like Flores, but this was a big mistake.

Also signing KVN, making him captain, and then releasing him after 1 year. He didn't know what kind of player Van Noy was even though he coached him previously? There have been a number of decisions like starting Tua and then benching him multiple times. Not really impressed so far. Dolphins got lucky with their trade with Houston and then Houston imploded. I do not see the Dolphins taking a big step forward this year.

Van Noy says he was playing hurt in Miami, but in Detroit he was bad too. BB seems to get the most out of him, and he returned to NE because, I am guessing, Van Noy knows he is best in BB's schemes. I think he has more fun being used correctly. Like you say, not the fastest guy. Not Bentley slow, but not fast. We have Uche and McMillan as well as the Safety hybrids so Van Noy can play more of a power, flexible, and thinking game. He is slow compared to RBs, but plenty quick enough inside.
