If he falls somewhere between the careers of the Manning brothers, I'd be very happy. For all the crap we give Eli, he started over 200 games. That is pretty damn rare. A good rule of thumb is 100 regular season starts. If you are good enough to get 100 starts in the NFL as a QB, then you 'made it' IMO. You are a QB of historical note for that alone. It doesn't mean you can't be a QB of note with less starts.... but 100 starts makes you a guy who is worth mentioning and remembering. That number may change in the future as the number of games increases though.
Edit: I don't know the exact number, but i think there are maybe 110-150 QBs with that many starts. Sounds about right.
