I thought he would make a decent developmental player. I advocated double-dipping that year with either Metcalf/McLaurin (my preference) or with AJ Brown/Boykin (which I thought was a very solid runner up). Either would have been preferable to our actual pickups, but water under the bridge and all that. Boykin has the physical profile to be an intriguing piece if he gets released. I'd take him on the PS and see if he could push for playing time down the road.

I'd put in a claim for him...He has a similar build to Harry, but is much more athletic, though with much less college production...Boykin could indeed always be somebody who simply never learned how to play his position; but at this point we know that Harry can't play it either...
