did anyone else get pissed off when right after Moss scored they put the camera on Tony Dungy and he had a sleazy half smile and just shook his head.

I know that sack of trash was thinking "he pushed off and no flag?". I'd bet everything i own on it. watch it again and it'll piss you off. i wanted to throw something at the screen.

Dungy is a fraud.

.......all the refs looked at each other and said, "I thought it was your turn to throw the flag, oops, Polian is going to be pissed!!!"

i swear to god that's how i felt after Welker's td.

It really felt like we had snuck one by them and they didn't have time to make up a penalty.

next time you watch that drive look at how many times they screwed with the pats to prevent a td. Then welker sneaks in the corner of the endzone and you get the feeling that the refs are just thinking: "dammnit, ok touchdown" (raises arms)

I immediately thought the same thing when I saw that. Moss pushing off, calling offensive pass interference on him, had been a talking point during the week of the anti-Patriots. In the pre-game, Belichick hater Charley Casserley specifically mentioned it, said this ref crew was and should be looking for it. Not on that call, but sure enough, later it happened. I watched the play on DVR multiple times and it looked like Moss jockeyed to get around the defender in the 1st few yards but not OPI.

Goddamn it Keegs, stop making me love you so much. You are my favorite poster.

I don't like him either but Dungy is pretty obviously the #2 coach in the league. If he's a fraud than he's the real life Mr. Ripley.

How can a holier than thou paragon of virtue like Dungee espouse Christian values out of one side of his mouth and decry a whole segment of our population because of their sexual preferences?

He's just as bad as that psychopathic megalomaniac Polian

I think the shot of Dungy was great producing. It seemed that the corners had been coached to not let Moss get to the outside on those end zone fades - just to run him into the sidelines. Moss made a great adjustment to just step inside and negate the coverage altogether. Dungy was left shaking his head.

Seriously, some people are looking for sh*t under stones, when there's plenty lying all over the freakin' place.

All: I want to be fair here. I thought the same thing when I first saw the Welker touchdown--why is the ref at the end zone line waiting, waiting to make the touchdown call. I watched the game again last night, and you see that the Colts defender's momenum carries him on the ground and he kind of flies up onto the legs of the ref, causing him to focus on this mini-collision. After the ref and the defender disengage, he puts up the TD signal.

I hate Dungy as much as the next guy, but can we quit with constant references to how he feels about gays? I really don't care in the slightest. I also don't care to know about his views on global warming, the war in Iraq, abortion, flag burning, national healthcare ... and pretty much every other religious, political, non-football opinion he has.

These kinds of comments belong on the political forum IMO. It might not be so bad if it wasn't consistantly brought up.

I didn't believe you earlier when you said you were drunk. I apologise for doubting your word.

Dungy is a fraud.

I kind of had a different reaction to it.

I immediately called my dad in Mass. and said "Did you see the LOOK on Dungy's face right there? It's like he's saying, how the h - e - double toothpicks (don't forget, it's Dungy we're talking about) can we ever stop that freak?"

To me, it was a pained smile of "I don't believe that freak - - there's no way to defend that".

It made me laugh my head off.

Not trying to be political...just using HIS PROFESSED PUBLIC STANCE to lay bare his blatantly hypocritical nature...and the reason he should SHUT HIS GODDAMNED MOUTH about Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots

There were some incredibly suspect PI calls and ball spots, no doubt.

But, did Welker get touched on that last 3rd down conversion? Seems to me that the refs were quick to signal to keep the clock moving, even though there was a good case there that the ball was live until he went OOB. That would have forced us to make another 1st down instead of kneeling out. Same thing with Stallworth's catch, a force-out is non-reviewable. Not sure there's a conspiracy here, more like plain old stupid officiating that happened to go mostly against the Pats.

yeah i guess it's how you look at it. you could definitely be right.

I just despise Dungy the Fraud so maybe that's why i came to my conclusion.

Same thing w/the Faulk TD. It was obviously a TD but the officials seemed to be looking around at each other waiting to see who was going to be the first to signal it - hoping that maybe, just maybe it was a fumble. Reluctantly they eventually made the correct call... pathetic.

Take it to the political forum! (You might even learn the Christian/Biblical view of homosexuality while you're in there...)

I think he had that smile because he knew that you just don't leave Moss with single coverage in the endzone, unfortunately for him, he found that out the hard way.

That's been touched on before. If you go to the ground without making an effort to advance the ball, the play is over, even if you're not touched by a defender. (Or you fumble the ball. )
