OT: The Case for Eliot Wolf to be Elevated to General Manager in Front Office

Not open for further replies.
I’m not the one making post after post day after day week after week about the exact same thing. Eliot Wolf’s father was Ron Wolf, who knew Bill Parcell’s, who knows Bill Belichick, who employs Josh MacDaniels, who has interacted with Eliot Wolf, thus everything is Eliot Wolf’s fault. See, I have now provided in one post as much supporting data for his suckitude as you have in 20,000 posts about Josh MacDaniels.

And the person trolling this forum is you, not me.

Nah you're in denial, negative troll railing on multiple posters.

At some point on may 1, the draft will end.

as a group, we tend to exonerate or convict Patriots drafters immediately after the draft.

I have always believed that everything that happens in the draft (good or bad) goes through bb!

but how much of what happens in this upcoming draft can wolf really impact?

The person who holds the title "General Manager" here in New England simply does not have the power or authority which most (key word: most) other GM's across the League do. On most teams, the GM is simply the highest ranking employee in the organization. On most teams, the GM hires/fires the HC, not vice-versa.

I just can't get too worked up over who the GM is here because, despite the title, they will always be secondary.

Well how much positive influence do you think Floyd Reese had from 2009-2012? I'd say a lot.

Agree. I'm not advocating for a diminishment of BB's power. I'm advocating to elevate Wolf on top of and diminish the influence of the 2 roommates from John Carroll.

Patriots having a nice draft so far. Glad Eliot Wolf is heavily involved, this guy should be elevated over Ziegler. Here is Eliot Wolf arranging the trade for Barmore before giving Belichick the thumbs up in the War Room.

With a good day 3, wolf can go from “really good” to almost a legend!

I love that every scene they show of the draft room, bb is not on the phone directly the call in,

keep bb’s ego in check and we will kill day 3!

I think having a couple new voices in the room has helped.

BB did mention that Wolf orchestrated the trade up for Barmore. I’m not sure how much impact he has but thats a pretty big delegation by BB to the young Wolf.

edit. Didnt see DKF’s video lol.

How would anyone who is not inside the room know? We have absolutely no idea who is doing what, except for Belichick, who had final say and as such has to take full responsibility. But if anyone here was inside the Patriots draft room the past two days they should enlighten us all about who said what?

You can wipe the egg off your face and take your foot out of your mouth. The war room video clearly shows Eliot Wolf coordinating the trade on the phone then he tells Belichick the trade is good to go for Barmore.

.

I don't like this trade At All...Way, WAY too expensive for somebody with clear bust potential.

If Barmore were still available at #46, then yippee...If not, then oh well there are Plenty of good prospects still available at All positions, including DT...

We're going to miss - very Sorely miss - those two picks today, when there are prospects still available at 122 & 139 who could've helped us.

So what? Eliot Eolf confirming a phone call means he’s calling the shots? What an unmitigated load of bullish.t. You just make sh.t up to support your agenda.

One is obsessive compulsive and the other has been hanging around the draft forum for almost twenty years but hasn't provided any insight beyond 14 words each post. Both will parrot what they heard elsewhere and pretend it's original thought.

Not sure which is my fav. One must have heard somewhere that Zach Wilson, the QB, has to be in a wide zone offense. When asked to elaborate, crickets. Another poster mentioned the article he read it in probably didn't provide further details for him to expand on. Which makes perfect sense. It never dawned on him until someone else said it but it makes so much sense.

Then you have the spam and misinformation from the other nitwit. He'd have you believing the Germans won the war and Iraq kicked our apple pie asses back to Boston.

Its unbelievable.

I’m not the person who needs to wipe something off of their face, and it isn’t egg.

Couldn’t agree more, it’s as tiresome as it gets. The last time anyone spewed the same sh.t in every post the way DKF does was NEM, which means it won’t be long until Mrs. DKF and Son of DKF will be spewing blather on this site.

There are underlining issues for sure and that's coming from an absolute mess of a person in myself.

But yea the spam & misinfo is out of control. This isn't a free speech or political forum. It's not hard to talk football but some here will F up a picnic.

Replying multiple times, sounds like you're triggered. Maybe take the fragility and lay off the keyboard this weekend.

Truth is that could be anywhere from “negotiating” to performing the secretarial function of placing a call.
As always, you take a circumstantial kernel and turn it into a mountain high pile of assumptions.
