They have two fewer early voting days than Georgia. Denver is also eons whiter than Atlanta, which has a population that is 51% African-American. Denver’s African-American population hovers around 9%. In addition, a whopping 30% of businesses in Atlanta are black-owned. The MLB pulling out of there over an assumption that black people are either too dumb or incapable of getting an I.D. to vote did more damage to those businesses than the law Kemp signed. LMFAOOOO. What a catastrophic failure.

Hey MLB, good luck retaining the ADHD generation while successfully alienating a massive portion of the generation of people that actually invests their money and time into your sport. I’ve actually read through the bulk of the bill and have gone to fact check websites. Even those I disagree with. There isn’t anything in this bill that is even remotely unreasonable, let alone proof of voter suppression along racial lines. You still have not explained to me how there is proof of anything remotely resembling proof of it. You also have not explained how, if the new law hurts one party, it doesn’t hurt another. They both vote the same way. If anything, the railing against this bill, based on the assumption that black people are unable to obtain valid photo IDs or social security cards/numbers is, in and of itself, a racist assumption.

Sure it does. It’s literally what the MLB just did. They accomplished little outside of moving a $100M event from a majority black city, with black-owned businesses, to a majority white city. They hurt the population they were supposedly standing up for far, far more than this bill ever could.

You ultimately want to generate revenue from every race, religion, area, and person that you possibly can. When you do so, you alienate segments of your consumer base. It’s stupid business. The MLB especially should not be doing that. They’re a boring sport with declining attendance and viewership already trying to remain relevant in an era where the younger audience needs constant action and has a two second attention span.

Anyway, it’s clear that I’m not going to be able to change your mind that these laws were far from unreasonable and I’d rather focus my posting on football as the draft is approaching. I’ll go ahead and give you the last word.
