The highlight reel is gonna highlight reel. Consistency issues, and footwork problems. Even in the highlight vid, you can see him throwing while leaning backwards when there isn't a real need to. An interesting prospect that I wouldn't mind in later rounds. It seems this draft has more qbs being hyped up than ever though. Hard to tell where guys are gonna land.
That can all be corrected.
Mac Jones lack luster arm and slow release and unathletic body type is a lot more to correct. Than some foot work and throwing stances.

No matter how well you run you can win in this league if you are incompetent in the passing game.
Heehee.

“you can win in this league if you are incompetent in the passing game”

We agree on the strategy it seems !!!

All the giants have to do now is draft another WR at #11 and they are in business...

He got a lot more than Agholor, so I'm not mad.
He’s a lot more talented than Nelson.
However we may find Nelson effects more plays than Kenny does for the Giants

No, I'm sure Golladay will be a better all around player than Agholor. It just looked for a while like Golladay's market might have dried up to the point where he would get paid less than Agholor. If that happened, I would have been very upset, but it turns out the people saying Golladay would have to settle for 1 year/$8M were way off.

I’m not sure the talent gap is that big. Agholor is long, athletic, extremely fast. His issue has been drops and consistent production, but he’s a talented player with a lot of potential.

They read the market wrong on Agholor, and overpaid him as a result. If you prefer a different interpretation, you can go with the team knowing it had plenty of money and not worrying about the money as much on day one. It means nothing in the end.

Who said that?

“They read the market wrong”? Oh, piss off already, douche. Were you part of the negotiations with Agholor? No, you weren’t, so you have no f-ing idea what other teams were offering and what his market was. $7m cap charge this year after his 2020 performance is not an overpay. Stop pretending that your negative, biased opinions are facts.

Typo obviously. Do you really think a team with an incompetent passing game can win in the nfl in 2021?

Our most impact signing at this point with what’s remaining would be Fournette.

Be a dangerous offense with whoever the QB would
Be.
My preference though would be to sign Eminem to compete with Stidham and Newton.
I’m not ready to close the door on Stidham but New England may be.

Do I think Golladay is worth having the second highest salary among WRs in the league? No, but I also didn’t think Jonnu was worth top 3 TE money either and I was still happy with that signing. I would have been thrilled if the Pats announced Golladay on day one of free agency with what he got from the Giants, because it meant having Golladay (or what I think would’ve represented a best case scenario for N’Keal Harry if he developed into the receiver the Pats hoped they were getting when he was drafted). I’m just glad he’s staying in the NFC.
