He played the entire NFC championship game when Winfield, Jr. was out if I recall correctly. Didn’t hear his name much so he definitely did his job and Rodgers definitely didn’t since he couldn’t take advantage of playing against 2 backup safeties.

Also, the other team was coming in super hot.
It's a very similar situation to this SB where Chiefs= NE as the overwhelming favorite with super talent and superior coaching.
Against Bucs = Giant as the super hot team peaking at the right time.

Seattle may be trying to get AB - Russell Wilson was pushing for Seattle to sign AB before the Bucs did last season, and he may be doing so again. Team might view that as a way to keep Wilson happy.

Still think AB eventually re-signs with the Bucs, but some potential competition for his services.

I havent followed, but have the Bucs kept Brate? I dont think Gronkowski is a guy who you want at this point in his career to be a full-time receiving Tight end due to his injury history.

They used him perfectly last year. limited snaps receiving and then unleashed him in the playoffs

Both Brate and OJ Howard hour under contract for this year.

Bucs are loaded at TE this year.

Agreed Gronk was used perfectly this past season

For limited use, Gronk was #10 in yards and #6 in TDs for TEs. He'll be better this season now that he's back in shape and familiar with Arian's system.
