DEATH, TAXES AND NEGATIVE HYPERBOLE ON PATSFANS.COM

Stop the bullsh*t.
semantically speaking...you flip one of those "not a stud" to is a stud, and you have literal 'almost every OTHER receiver is a stud'. if he said "all other" it would mean everyone on the list rather than one out of every two...

...and yes, bored and hung over on a sunday morning

Mick Lombardi is WR coach. I'm quite certain he has/is doing everything possible to help Harry become a better football player.

I'm also quite certain Josh, Troy Brown, JE11, Cam and others have provided him with help and support learning the offense.

You say things like route running, processing, physicality over the middle, are receiving qualities that can be improved on. I would agree but only if the player a) has that physical ability and b) has that desire. Due to physical and mental limitations some players can't run good routes, or are physical or process information/make quick decisions.

Maybe in 2021 it'll "click" for Harry. Maybe it won't. Who knows.
I think Pats go all in with Harry this season and assign Little Steven to coach him. He's bound to improve, hmmm 50%. Yea, that's the ticket.

Nice use of Acrobat but I only see Isabella graded lower than Harry out of that list. That's hardly hyperbole.

The OP clearly meant that Harry was one of the only WRs from the 2019 draft who isn’t an NFL stud (and obviously not that 50% of the WRs not named Harry are studs).

11/18 (61%) from that list are not NFL studs (yet), so he was way off.

I am not saying that the Harry pick wasn’t an very costly whiff and a huge missed opportunity to pick a game-changing WR. I am simply tired of the negative posters here regularly embellishing facts, or flat out making sh*t up, in order to fit their anti-Belichick agenda.

A. I didn’t use Acrobat.
B. The OP didn’t mention anything about relative WR grades, dope. This point about the NFL success of “almost every other receiver” in the draft was clearly hyperbole.

Does this help?

So we’re stacking up Harry against every receiver in the draft instead of just guys in the first few rounds? Do whatever it takes to make you feel better but Harry is a bust.

But by your own calculation (and whatever subjective definition of stud) he was correct since 61% would be "almost every other."

Again, please read the definition, that's hardly hyperbole.

Maybe you should find the definitions for "almost" and "every other" so you can put it all together. I can see why you can't use Acrobat.

So even though you agree that Bill's decision was a "very costly whiff and a huge missed opportunity," you proceed to make sh*t up and use hyperbole to besmirch the OP because you're salty over people criticizing your Lord Belichick?

I can see you joined right before the end of the 2007 season and picked the "Patsgofor4." You probably became bitter and frustrated having to wait 7 years before your chosen name became a reality. Yet, just 2 years later it became obsolete. Now it just looks dumb. Maybe you should quit and re-join with a "Patsgofor8" name and a less bitter attitude.

Are you surprised that someone would do that, though?

i get what you're saying. i wasn't defending or trying to infer what the OP meant, i was just saying that flip one more and we're semantically at "almost every other"

Sanu was far more established in the NFL and let go by the Pats much faster. Harry is barely hanging on by a thread, I think Harry Michel and Wynn should all be traded because none are worth extending at all and maybe we get something back now that can help the team.

After today's moves there is no way in hell Harry is in a NEP uniform for 2021.

Calling it. Draft day trade for a 6th rounder. BB is cutting his losses.
Wouldn’t shock me. I’m pretty sure the recent “trade interest” rumors were put out by the team to let the league know he’s available and drum up a little interest.

And you cut your losses on defending him. He's been coddled his entire time in NE and I've never seen Bill baby a player as much as he has with Harry. I think his latest comments about not having pressure to produce as a 1st round pick was what sealed his fate with BB. The guy just has no urgency or desire to get rid of that massive bust label he currently has. I don't like his attitude.

No doubt the writing is on the wall with all these WR signings. Harry's time in New England is about to end. The only question is who we can sucker into taking him off our hands and what compensation we get in return. Hopefully we can improve our pick selection by doing a pick swap. If we could swap one of our later picks to get back a mid to early 3rd round pick, it would probably be worth making the move.

Yep. I still think it's appropriate to give him one more season ( cap hit, other) so to exhaust all opportunities to realize production but the writing is clearly on the wall.

BB has the testicles to admit he is wrong and move on, rather than just hang on to a guy because he is a high draft pick.

OTOH Harry does not carry a heavy cap hit... 2.7 million in '21 & 3.2 million in '22.

Chatham/Wozzy is going down with the ship. Mocked people on Twitter for saying the Patriots needed “weaponz,” then the Patriots went out and got “weaponz” on offense.
