N'Keal on the block?

Not entirely sure the Pats will have a new starting QB.
Even if we ride the Cam express again....I'd like to see if Harry can't get better. The guy has caught passes from 4 different QB's...one of whom that just doesn't trust rookies.

I didn't know that Brian Hoyer doesn't trust rookies...?

I will take a conditional 8th rounder. What is calling?

His bad play aside, his attitude is alarming. Have you seen his last comment about him having any pressure to produce as a 1st round pick going into YEAR 3? He said he doesn't feel any. Seriously. And this is after the other picks before and after him outproducing him by a mile, an undrafted FA outplaying him and now his former teammate gains 300 more yards in one year alone than Harry in two years. The excuses need to stop. It's time for him to go.
And if he said he felt tons of pressure people here would rip him for being soft. Kind of a no win. Injured 1/2 the season, have a pissed off, injured Brady for 1/2 the season, with no o-line, and have statistically the worst qb in the league throwing the ball at your feet for a season during which he gets a concussion from a god awful get your wr killed pass from Cam.

Maybe you can explain something to all of us. How is it that Jakobi Meyers was able to catch 59 of 81 passes (72.8%) with a 9.8 yards per target average from Newton/Hoyer/Stidham, while Harry was left with catching just 33 of 57 passes (257.9%) with just a 5.4 yards per target average?

Was Last year's QB group hating on N'Keal, too?

Cam was bad. That being said he was still outperformed by Meyers and Byrd. That’s alarming for a first rounder.

Come on Deus you know that every player is different. Harry’s game is supposed to be go up for the big contested throw, behind the shoulder catch. Myers is supposed to be the precise route runner, mostly shorter passes, stuff. Cam couldn’t or just didn’t throw any contested balls in the 2nd half of the season. When he did he threw them away, either intentionally or by accident. Doess as my mean Harry is mediocre-good-bad or anything, it means if you have an ungodly bad Qb throwing you the ball it is really hard to judge the receiver.

Stop excusing Harry's ****ty play, and stop blaming that ****ty play on the QBs. Excusing that ****ty play, and blaming the QBs for that ****ty play, doesn't help the player, and it makes you look like ridiculous.

He could've easily said he expects more from himself and that his production thus far is unacceptable. Him just shrugging it off is not a good look.

His college tape is CRAP compared to other WRs drafted after him.

FIRE our Chief WR scout

comparing his college game tape with AJ Browns...how he was drafted above Brown I will never fathom in a million years

Reports are that the team scouts had red flags on the guy, but BB is close to one of Harry's former coaches, heard his analysis, and went with it. Whether this is true or not, I cannot tell you. I can only tell you what the local media is reporting.

Or just anyone else's tape is baffling.

I think it's true. Both Lazar and Bedard have said BB goes rogue quite frequently and ignores his scouts.

He chose Harry over Metcalf. That's got to have him waking up in a cold sweat a time or two every night.

Que the "hindsight" crowd. Metcalf was arguably the best WR in the class with Hollywood Brown despite his neck injury and route running concerns. Russell Wilson gloats about how intelligent he is. Brady is probably still here if he was the pick.
And AJ Brown and Debo Samuel
I think Metcalf and Brown over Samuel. While anybody is better than Harry, I'm not a fan of Samuel's play. It looks great for highlight reels as he tries to knock out the defender when he has the ball in his hands. Problem is, he gets injured a lot. Passing on Calvin Ridley a year earlier still bothers me. The WR group could've been filled with studs.

So much makes me cry he’s a hall of fame talent
