Do people actually care about the cheerleaders? I've been to countless games and the only time that I've noticed them was when our TE was dancing with them after the 2016 AFCCG.

"Go Football Team!!"

Introducing the WFT coed dance team

The Redskins were letting certain season ticket holders watch their cheerleaders change during photo shoots and heir Goodell did nothing, but the Pats had a independent production crew film the sidelines during a game that was being broadcasted and they gi5 docked a third round pick.

This conduct by the Redskins was so abhorrent they should be permanently barred from the league!

What women would sign up to be abused like that?

Cheerleaders : have no idea why they are part of modern sports.
This an ownership decision. It is about marketing and publicity and brand. I can't see Dallas getting rid of them, or KC or Seattle or Las Vegas. Some teams like having cheerleaders. It isn't as if, the owner can take that money and increase player salaries. If they think that cheerleaders mean more revenue, then they will continue the practice.

I, Social Justice Hysteric-ker demand the NEP employ only the wokest of woke cheerleading persons from here on forth! I propose this beautiful lass as "head" cheerleaderthing and give her sole authority over the hiring of the "squad". We must become and remain WOKE! Death to Seuss! Death to the Cat In The Hat!

I’ll rephrase : the internet is full of attractive women. I choose to watch football to watch football. If I choose to watch attractive women, they won’t be on a football field.

Is this what inspired the incel movement?
