All the hype on that guy since he came out and teams still pay him big money. His best days where in houston as a 3-4 OLB. Had two good years where he made the pro bowl.
And he ran for top dollar rather than staying in an ideal situation, which has probably cost him money in the end. He'd serve as a cautionary tale, if athletes thought about anything beyond their desire to immediately max out the thickness of their wallets more often than about 1% of the time.

For you to pass judgement on a player's desire to maximize their earning potential when their career could end in a blink of an eye is crap.

Every player's situation and what they view as important to them and their family is different.

According to Bedard, even if he's cut Mariota wants his contract to stay the same being paid $20million as a starter.

Considering no team wants to trade for that I think he's going to be disappointed on the open market

Smith is definatley better than Cam, just don't know if he can stay healthy. They took alot of tissue from elsewhere on his body to save that leg.
Explains why his leg shakes every time he farts.

This is another method for teams in cap trouble. Trade rather than cut and pick up a bunch of late round picks to fill the bottom half of the roster.
It'll be just under $5 for Brown. His contract wasn't heavily front loaded.

This makes me worried that they're trying to make a play for Pitts in the draft. I'd love to draft him, but he will probably be gone before we get a shot at taking him. He'd be fantastic in that offense alongside Jefferson, however.

That’s win against the Jets will cost us a good player

as projected in GM LOUNGE. Lots of DL cuts to follow to add to an already deep FA field
this one i saw as realistic option for new NE DL rotation or at least TC competition

I've always thought he would fit in here.

Are you thinking that they will focus on a QB next year? They don't have any real prospect behind Cousins and Cousins is only signed through 2022.
That's really the only way I see them focusing on Pitts.

But he's not good. Why spend the money/pick combination for him?
He was considered one of the top 10 DT against the RUN last year, but "he's not good".. SMH..
