yeah he throws more than his fair share, but the big whopper was his first year under arians, who did nothing to help him with his play calling... he can throw for yards, can he learn touch though... thats the questionGood God... could you imagine the amount of INTs Winston would have thrown with pure amount of **** we had at WR and TE? He may have eclipsed 30. Also, Massachusetts has some delicious crab leg joints. He’d have been arrested for a dine and dash before even setting foot in Gillette.
He has touch. His decision making is horrific. That’s not something he can learn.yeah he throws more than his fair share, but the big whopper was his first year under arians, who did nothing to help him with his play calling... he can throw for yards, can he learn touch though... thats the question
dont be silly. Of course a player can learn. Would he put in the work required though, is a fairer question. He has touch. His decision making is horrific. That’s not something he can learn.
I think Bill has always said how players do in another system is irrelevant to them. That was certainly the rumor at the end of 2017 training camp prior to their trading him. Since then, Brissett has showed himself to at least be NFL backup level with the Colts. So the Patriots view may have changed since then, that they thought he wasn’t good enough to play in the NFL but his performance with the Colts may have changed that. We‘ll see.
A gambler is a gambler. Can you name me one gunslinger quarterback who shook that tendency at any point in their career? Especially in a career as late as Winston’s?dont be silly. Of course a player can learn. Would he put in the work required though, is a fairer question.
no, I cannot.A gambler is a gambler. Can you name me one gunslinger quarterback who shook that tendency at any point in their career? Especially in a career as late as Winston’s?

Never went a season without double digit INTs. Even in his last two seasons when his yardage totals and attempts went down to accommodate a smash mouth offense built around Davis. I will grant you that he is the closest example to one who nearly beat those tendencies, but he still make a lot of bad decisions with the football late in his career.Elway
And Rivers threw 24. It's their system where they want to run it more.Cam newton might be able to give you what Jacoby Brissett can just cheaper.
Brissett took a colts team from Andrew luck and threw 13 total TDs. His best year he threw 18.
The Clots went from 39 passing TDs with Luck to 18 with Brisette because they wanted to "run it more"? with Marlon Mack as the lead back? And Rivers threw 24. It's their system where they want to run it more.
Cam (CAR) > Brissett
Brissett (NEP) >>>>> Cam
Stop gap until BB rebuilds the defense & acquires more talent, to then be a QB away from contending.I have absolutely no idea what signing Brissett would do for us. He won't win us enough games to get us to the playoffs, because he would easily be the fourth best QB in the division. He also can't elevate any offensive weapons we want to develop, because he won't be throwing enough.
They ran it more because of Brissett. They also ran it 459 to 552 passes with Rivers, a much better QB. 20 rush TD to 24 passing TDs.The Clots went from 39 passing TDs with Luck to 18 with Brisette because they wanted to "run it more"? with Marlon Mack as the lead back?
The Colts "wanted to run it more" because Jacoby Brisette can't throw the football... Its not because there was a scheme change, like you implied... There was a player change, and that player sucked assThey ran it more because of Brissett. They also ran it 459 to 552 passes with Rivers, a much better QB. 20 rush TD to 24 passing TDs.
Cam threw for 8 TDs, yet people prefer to have him back over Brissett? Lol
