Yeah I mean it's like saying Kraft could have done or said something to make Parcells stay. Short of him selling the team, it wasn't going to happen. When you cant legitimately debate a point, attack the person trouncing you.
Brady chose to leave and when given the opportunity to ask for anything he wanted he said no im good.
That’s really what happened.
Why he may have felt that way is an entirely different discussion than whether it was his choice or the teams that he left.
Gronk and AB were NOT coming back to the Pats, and Fournette wasn't coming here either.
Tom has said many times he made his choice and the fact is he earned the right to do so. Thank you to Curt Flood and other pioneer heroes who paved the way for pro athletes to have freedom.
Kraft [must give obligatory thanks for buying team and hiring Belichick] on the other hand is living in a fantasy world.
"I too prefer the old logo." -Robert Kraft to its creator Phil Bissell, two weeks after purchasing the Patriots in 1994.
Robert Kraft absolutely has been, is and always will be 100% committed to the sick, sad flying elvis, ugly enemy stripeless silver helmets and ugly enemy blue jerseys perpetrated 100% against Patriots fans wishes, over three decades of football history, tradition and glory and common minimal aesthetic sight.
The flying elvis is plastered and promoted absolutely everywhere, it's inescapable and the $millions Kraft has spent would have been profits instead of expenses if he'd simply restored the real look of the team and given the fans he falsely claims to care about what those in GB, PIT, DAL, SF and KC had.
