Wilfork should get in alone for this....

It would be great if Seymour and Vince got in together.

Glad Vince was around for a ring. During the « lean years » (heehee) 2005-2013, Vince was nothing short of a game wrecking beast.

MVP voted went like this:
Rodgers 44
Allen 4
Mahomes 2

Wow. Allen > Mahomes?

Thought Brady might get a couple.

Rodney is never getting in. The HOFers hate him.
Watching old Chargers games, Harrison and Seau were the team. They left it all out there regardless of San Diegos overall record or scoreboard.

IIRC, Rodney started a fight at the Pats practice his first week in NE. He hit someone too hard.

Again, one of my favorite players of all time.

Technically, yes. Allen had the more impressive/consistent season...and a good amount of rushing TDs to boot. Also, outside of that game vs TEN (which was on a short week AND was rescheduled a couple of times) BUF was consistently very good offensively. Reg season award.

Woodson & Manning were obviously locks. Surprised Megatron got in on his first try. Considering he retired so soon. But when he did play, there was no doubt he was the best receiver in football.

And the SB MVP curse continues. 21 seasons and counting.

The lack of individual HOF respect for the Patriots dynasty is stunning. Unfortunately my guess is that only Seymour and Law make it from the defense and Gronk and Brady from the offense when all is said and done. Maybe Gilmore if he plays well for another 3 or 4 years. (realize Moss is in but he was already a HOF player when Pats picked him up) Players like McGinest, Harrison, Wilfork, McCourty never received nearly as much credit as they deserved while playing and their limited # of Pro Bowl appearances will likely keep them out.

That’s not really a strong class. Wilfork will probably have to wait a while but I can see Seymour finally getting the call next year.

I can see the stupid hall putting Vince in before Big Sey. He was more of a character the Seymour.

I think Seymour should be in already. And while I think Vince belongs the Hall hasn't been kind to nose tackles. So if they were being consistent they should consider Seymour before Vince.

Sheer ownage.

MVP Race:

Patrick Mahomes played so well that his team basically wrapped up the AFC with a few weeks left, so the team took its foot off the pedal. Mahomes led critical drives throughout the season and was at his best against the best competition.

Aaron Rodgers played extremely well but not as well as Mahomes, so the Packers went full throttle for 17 weeks. Though their stats were neck and neck into December, Rodgers made a national MVP against tomato cans (as usual) with huge stats while Mahomes didn’t even try.

These guys will get in most likely.

-Seymour
-Harrison (I think he will someday)
-Gronk
-Vinatieri
-Chandler Jones
-Mankins
-Revis
-Brady

Then you already have Law, Seau, and Moss.

Vinatieri, Brady, and Gronk are slam dunks for first ballot.

There was a debate on ESPN the other day about which TE was more dominant in their prime (When both were at their best). Kelce or Gronk. The answer is Gronk. Without a doubt.

If you are just looking at dominance and how they performed when healthy, Gronk is a tier above everyone else. That includes Gonzalez, Kelce, Gates, and whomever else.

watch Brady not beeing first ballot, the hate is real guys

Sorry Allen making it over Seymour or Zach Thomas is a joke and so is Lynch while Rodney gets ignored.

Even though the Pats were the team of the 2000's only Law has made it (excluding Seau, Moss, Parcells and Martin who earned it with other teams, mostly).

On the other hand

Steelers: Lebeau, Dawson, Bettis, Fanaca, Greene, Cowher
Colts: Dungy, Polian, Manning, Harrison, James
Bucs: Sapp, Brooks, Lynch
Ravens: Ogden, Lewis, Reed
Rams: Bruce, Warner, Faulk

Some of these aren't debatable like Faulk even though I loathe him but just watch Reggie Wayne, Ronde Barber, Anquan Bolden, James Harrison, Darrelle Revis........and ELI all beat the next Patriot in.

I know Bill, Adam and Tom will all get in but if Fanaca is getting in then so should Mankins, Rodney should get in if Lynch and Dawkins are in, if you're letting Greene and Allen in then Wilfork and Seymour should get in and for that matter so should McGinist who has more post season sacks than Allen (a whopping 4) and Greene (8.5) have combined with this 16. Bruce F'ing Smith is second all time at 14.5.

Brady will be first ballot and it will be unanimous.

BB will be too but I think it will not be unanimous and you can probably guess why. There will be at least one voter who wants to make a name for him or herself at Bill’s expense.
