Good point. To your last paragraph, a few guys in Seattle probably agree.

None of them know what they're talking about. If anything those guys should be upset that Seattle screwed up by blowing their last two timeouts just before The Butler Did It.

Since Seattle knew that they were unsuccessful against the Pats short yardage defense on three 3rd and 1's during the game, Carroll knew that he couldn't afford to take that chance and only get off one more play. So he went to their "bread and butter" goal line pick play instead.

Unfortunately for Seattle, Bill Belichick was on the opposite sideline and he had been preparing the team for that exact play prior to the game. In interviews of the coaching staff afterwards, many of them mentioned how they were panicking in their microphones at the end and Belichick was calmly stating that "we've got this." He was right.

Sadly, this and Butler's great play was ignored after Cris Collinsworth spent the closing moments whining about the choice of a pass play. For a former player he seems to be more inclined to create controversy than to acknowledge great plays. He did similar things during Edelman's great catch in the Pats comeback vs Atlanta.

We have the best board to debate this game even compared to a Buccaneers forum.They actually suck. The majority of Pats fans here root for Brady still and are fairly passionate about him getting his 7th. I can't blame a Chiefs fan for being here where everyone is talking about this game

If Brady wasn't playing I'm not sure that I'd watch at all. I'll have the volume down low enough that I can't hear the announcers and I won't be watching the adds either, just like always.

TB isn't as flawed at QB as those teams. Even at 43 with diminished ability Brady's a real threat. He won't be taking a stupid 19 yard sack on 2nd and 4 or gagging up fur balls in crunch time.

No he won't. But his coach isn't on Reid's level. And his receivers have a bad habit of dropping balls. I trust Brady. But he's only one player.

The media is making this out to be Mahomes vs Brady. It's not. Neither play special teams or defense. They won't be on the field simultaneously.

Neither QB's resume or legacy takes a hit with a loss tonight. Both are first ballot HOFers.

If Brady loses? So what. You lost to the favorite. Dynasty. If Mahomes loses? So what. You lost to the GOAT.

Using your "logic" and since this is a SB game thread and the Pats are not in it, then the Chiefs fan belongs and we don't. Like I said, because other boards are unhospitable to opposing fans doesn't mean that we should be.

I'm a Chiefs fan. But I can't put Reid on Belichick's level. Even with a win tonight. It's going to take alot more than two titles. Alot more.

I'm prepared to say Mahomes has surpassed Big Ben & Brees with a win tonight. If he hasn't already.

You cannot compare a 3 year career against guys that have been starters for a decade+
I dislike Ben but no way, and it looks worse to say he’s better than Brees.
