NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Wild Card game discussion: Bucs @ Football team

He’s worse those guys hated Brady cause he was a rival this dude hates on the man that provided the greatest dynasty of our lives
Belichick loyalists, basically. It must really suck having to twist into a pretzel. The arguments are getting more and more difficult to make.

This was cool. Brady yelling 'that's unbelievable' after Henicke made an awesome TD throw'.

Also another note. I don't care for Jamele Hill already crying that Heinicke is conservative. Tom Brady is a hardcore republican too. Let's leave politics out of sports. It gets bizarre if you can't even root for a player unless they match your politics.

.

"Hardcore Republican" is strong for a guy who is so careful with his words as Brady is. Brady is extremely tight lipped about opinions that could rock any boat. The only indicator was a hat seen in his locker from someone at that point he had been celebrity pals with.

I thought that he was saying that to the refs after they reviewed the TD and that the TD was standing because he fought that it was clearly not a TD.

I have to be honest and say this WFT D was slightly overrated. I thought so before they came into the game and I still think so. Not that they were bad or even average. Just not very good. Only good. But one of the best left and not too far behind the Rams.
Tampa is so loaded at WR that WTF cant cover everyone.

Evans, Godwin and AB are all studs. AB was suspended 8 games and has only started 4 games. So far, 400 + yards and 4 TDs plus 50 more yards and 1 more TD yesterday.

If the Bucs get out of this with a win, which they should, you have to like their chances going forward. They had their jitters. They had a game on offense where things went wrong. They got to play against a decent D in Washington, possibly the best they will play the rest of the year. If they come out of this with a win, you need to figure this offense will be hard to stop the rest of the way. The only problem perhaps being snow.

If that defense plays like they did against Washington next week they have no shot.

Tampa probably wont face a defense like this now. Which kinda bodes well for them in the future games.

They will most likely be facing a defense that has completely owned them twice this year in the Saints and if somehow the Saints choke and lose to the Bears they'll be playing the Rams whose defense owned them this season.

If the Bears win, won't that mean a home game for Tampa since all three lower seeds won and the remaining seeds are #1,5 (TB), 6, 7????? We know Brady's record in home playoff games.(20-4)...much better than road record.(5-4)

Another GOAT, MJ, was the same way during his playing career.

Dungy: “And Mike you’re asking me what Tom Brady is doing better than when I was coaching against him and it’s this, moving around in the pocket…”

I'm a give the benefit of the doubt kind of guy, but the HoF coach saying this is just absolutely ridiculous (in addition to a bad rest of the night of his commentating). Brady's basically been known since his first year to have this uncanny ability to move around in the pocket to avoid the rush - like someone is controlling him in Madden (which I haven't played in 20 years, coincidentally). No wonder he had a losing record against him. Sheesh.

You think Tom Brady, the GOAT, is going to lose to a team 3 straight times in one season? I've watched Tom Brady for 20 years, every game. Anything is possible but I would absolutely not bet against Brady. He almost always rises to the occasion in the biggest spots to give his team a chance to win. Tom looks like he has not declined one bit. If Brady loses it will be by a hair.

Brady can't play defense or be a DC.

We've seen, historically, that whenever Brady has had a bad defense in the time he played here, he never got far.

When Brady told his receivers to "get lubed up," he meant to "stay hydrated, drink a lot of water."
oh my george takai GIF

The Bears have a chance too.

Obviously, get to Brees and get him thinking about those ribs. The Bears are efficient on offense. Montgomery runs well, Robinson is a stud, Mooney is only a rookie, but has showed up lately. Jimmy Graham is having a good season.

Yup, I remember Ron Jaworski constantly calling Brady the most mobile QB in the league. He would breakdown video showing Brady moving around the pocket buying himself more time while keeping his eyes down fiend and his feet positioned to step into the throw.
