Comparing rosters in the division is kind of silly. Since 2015, Jets, for example, have had pick 6, 20, 3, 3, 6, 11,and 27 in the first round.
Pats have had 32, 29 (forfeited), 83 (3rd round), 23 and 31, 32, 37.
Those are just 1st picks. It follows that rotation, you know.
That's kind of the price of victory, plus selling out a #1 to get a receiver in here, plus getting hit with ridiculous penalties by Goodell.
The NFL isn't built for teams to retain top rosters.
But so you know I'm not just being a homer here, yeah, I agree that the last few drafts have really sucked in WR and TE. they've spent almost no capital, and when they did, they got a guy who doesn't even fit the way they run their offense (Harry), instead of one of two guys who beautifully fit their scheme (AJ Brown and Deebo)...and they could have had Metcalf, too, instead of a DB, and could have had Hunter Renfrow instead of an OL who isn't even here anymore.
