Good game Pats fans - And you need to Cut Cam Newton

That was a fun game.

I hope all of your players came out of it healthy.

Your team has so much heart and could have won this game with a couple different bounces.

Personally, I think you need to cut Cam.

He is really bad and there is no point In keeping him on the roster.

Look forward to the game in Foxborough!
Welcome but a couple words of caution. Fools gold. I appreciate your enthusiasm for your team. You're team is a little better than it has been. Hell they made the playoffs last year and probably will this year but the main reason for their ascension in the division is the Patriots "just aren't good anymore"( thank you Trent Dilfer). Still enjoy the ride. It's been a long time coming for Bills fans. Reminds me of the 96 Pats though Bills aren't going to the SB.

Allen does have a bit of Bledsoe in him but he is a tough runner

All in all it was a good game by the Pats considering where they are at in the rebuild.

Pass defense was sufficiently good, missing Gilmore hurt today but thats the nature of this game.

After 8 weeks this Buffalo team looks like that glass jaw paper champion with a record of 6-2. Like it or not the Bills are more than likely going to represent the AFC East if they can hold off Miami. They’re not really striking fear into other divisions, thats for sure. To be honest I thought after their strides last year that they would make a leap this season, but they seem worse on defense and situational football. Allen looks better as does the running game, Diggs has also done well.

Agreed. They basically asked him to be a game manager. You have to protect the ball.

Could Stidham really do that much worse?

And even if he was worse, doesn’t Belichick want to see what he truly has in him before the offseason?

Just seems like keeping Cam around doesn’t help the Patriots in the short term OR long term.

Jarret Stidham has a high int% than Nathan Peterman :oops::rofl:

Time to sign Rosen off TBs PS and trade for Tru eff it
Not sure if Rosen would want to come here. He's in a pretty good position right - has a chance to learn from Brady and will be able to compete to be the future QB.

Congrats to the Bills. The fans have suffered for many years and they must be loving their record atm.

A word of caution though : the Bills eek out a win VS an absolute mess of a team - at home... Buffalo has followed two losses with AFCE squeakers vs the NYJ and NE. I’d not feel comfortable in their odds vs the likes of KC, PIT.

You may be right.

Time will tell.

Close games and losses happen.

And weird stuff happens sometimes.

For example, the Chiefs lost to the Raiders. Bills blew the Raiders out.

Another example, the Seahawks lost to the Cardinals. And the Cardinals lost to the Lions.

Any given Sunday - especially with divisional opponents.

STFU with the hackneyed platitudes you obvious MORON....here's one for you...Four Shots At The Ring With NOTHING To Sing....nitwit...and here's another one....Josh Allen- Franchise Quarterback...LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! You ignorant Love Canal toad....your Belles are about to be passed by the Miami Dolphins and a real franchise QB....your window of so called "success" is already closing fast. Skip on back to Toad's Bar & Grille in Barfalo and eat atomic wings until your azzole blows apart. Jerkoff.

Josh Rosen is pure garbage and it's insane how many 4th lives this bust has.

.

The press pumps all these young QB's up like shameless pimps every year looking for their next "Peytie Pooch"...look at the schlock that IS Sam Darnit...ridiculous. I read the QB draft analysis, as I do every year, when Darnold was being pumped up...looking back

"Darnold looked like a can't-miss pro-style QB during his stellar redshirt freshman season at USC in 2016. But after a shaky, inconsistent sophomore campaign where his interceptions ramped up, capped by a miserable Cotton Bowl performance against Ohio State's talented defense, Darnold became more of a polarizing prospect."

He was another in a long line of USC Pat Haden types but immediately the NY moron press had him pegged as "The Samchise!"...they got it wrong...again...SSDD. The most damning evidence is the "quarterback whisperer" has been able to do LESS than zero with Darnold.

Cam is a dead end now. He is an impediment to the work that must be done. Working with a scattershot dimbulb like him will actually impede the development of our young receivers and will frustrate, even endanger the vets. Nobody is gonna learn anything playing, "I wonder where Cam might throw the ball this time." Dump him in the interest of "doing what is best for the team," not that there's been a lot of evidence lately that the team still holds to that principle.

As for the Bills, they're on the rise: we're not.

To what end?

To win games?
Tanking is the worst thing a team can do.

It sends a message that they dont care about winning first. That there are other priorities in a team sport other than winning. The moment a coach admits they are trying to lose is the moment he loses the true nature of respect from peers and peopel

This mentality is truly fruit of our times, where we expect results in the shortest of terms.

I like you as a post Green Cow, but i disagree wholeheartedly with this take

Josh Allen is still Josh Allen.

Not ready for the bigtime. He looks so much like Drew Bledsoe. A great play and a win here and there and just good enough that you want to keep him around. Allen needs that one last piece of the puzzle.

If only Josh had ______________________ Years from today, Allen will still be stuck in 2nd gear and this same debate will be ongoing at 1BillsDrive.

I refuse to believe Bill would even entertain the thought. This is a guy who is a football scholar and almost 70 trying to chase Shula in wins. Deliberately losing games would in my view be a stain on his legacy and I’m sure he feels the same way.

But if the Patriots lose out I stand by the thought that some serious questions will be asked about Bill and the coaching staff. And rightfully so. This team has no business losing 14 games as constructed no matter what the situation is.

Cam blew it but hes also the only reason we were in this game.

I don't know about a good game. It was competitive which was kind of a surprise. There were too many strange decisions made by the team for it to be "good". Kicking a FG on 3rd down. A bizarre choice to onside kick when they just got a 2-point conversion to tie the game. Running plays on 3rd and long all day. Trying to tun James White up the middle on 3rd down. Starting Izzo and no other TE's. (I'm convinced Izzo has compromising pics of BB somewhere).

Too many strange things for this to be a good game from the Patriots perspective.

It was almost as if bill was low key tanking and testing out plays rather than trying to win.
