They didn’t tank. They won 5 of 9 after starting 0-7. They cleaned house and built a culture.2019 dolphins

“He played decently for stretches” is the best you’ve got? He was terrible. Before you **** on Cam, he played decently for stretches and we wouldn't have been in it without him. Belichichick deserves a lions share of the blame for that onside kick.
Luck lasted 86 games. The colts made the playoffs 10 straight years before tanking. Luck won 4 playoff games in his entire career.
We’ll see.Kraft would not fire Bill. Regardless of the results at the end of the season.
Not to mention that sucking for Luck was NOT the reason that team didn’t win a title. It also did not destroy Indy’s culture at all. That hindsight is 20/20 is incredibly strong with this one. He was by far the best QB, a franchise QB which he was coming out of the draft and he proved that. Indy was 2-14 and they went 11-5 with Luck as a rookie. Please.
they lack top end talent entirely. A full rebuild is coming. They have a lot of youth, good building blocks and the most cap room in the nfl next year
It definitely didn’t help Indy when they tanked for Luck, right? What in the world are you smoking? Not to be an ass, but Jesus. Luck was worth the tanking.
If we lose next week and give the Jets their first win it would be big. With Atlanta, Vikings and bengals winning this week and hopefully the chargers beat Denver, we are now drafting in the top 10. Just got to lose 9 more straight games.
Hello mr. Lawrence.
If he doesn't fumble, we may have won.. It sucks but no matter what happens. Hope he keeps his head up. I also don't like people who bash him for his fashion sense. Not all men need to dress like the stereotypical "man".
Luck was an elite QB. Not the best but he was very good. No, he was not. Peyton Manning, Tim Duncan, Lebron James, Sydney Crosby.... those are #1 overall's that would've been worth a tanked season. Luck had similar hype but wasn't anywhere near an elite QB when he was active. Under him the Colts were a 'midcarder' at best, one afcc appearance where they got smoked.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is objectively wrong and needs to take a deep breath and step back.Kraft would not fire Bill. Regardless of the results at the end of the season.
All depends on the type of draft and what needs we have. Obviously this year I would take the worse record since it looks like a very good qb draft and we need a qb.It makes a lot of sense, actually. You want to be a 8-8 team out of the playoffs that drafts in the middle of the pack, or 3-13 out of the playoffs that drafts in the top 5? You tell me.
They didn’t give themselves any chances to win either. Curtis Painter started games for them FFS. We’re trash too this year. Unless you believe that this team is going to reel off 8-9 straight, winning games this season serves no purpose whatsoever. There’s literally no positives to it.Colts didn’t tank for Luck they were just trash.
Last year when you look back if Brady was replaced with an average QB they would have been 12-4 or 11-5. The only win that wasn’t a blowout or predicated by defense was the second bills game. It's really strange to see folks dumping on Belichick and the team's culture right now. Like, of all the things to critique, that's what you choose?
Not the lack of talent in the defensive front-7? Not the lack of offensive playmakers? Not the questionable offensive play-calling? Not the unfortunate opt-outs due to COVID? Not the salary cap predicament from kicking the can down the road to extend Brady's window?
The culture, the head coach, and the general manger are completely fine. If this team can find a serviceable QB of the future and use their salary/draft capital to add talent, they'll be contending again in no time.
Fact remains, they're a few plays away from 6-1 despite all the obstacles they've faced, and the lack of talent in a lot of places.
I’ll always wonder what could’ve been had he not gotten stuck with grigson. Criminal that Indy neglected the OL until it was too late.Eh, he was probably top 10 but at no point did i feel he was anywhere near Brady / Manning / Rodgers / Brees. No way was he elite, 2nd tier perhaps.
