Insomnia blows large chunks, so here I am with a look at what out of town fans will not see ... and a kick off to all the other Week 8 games.

CBS - Single Game
08-CBS.png

Red: Pittsburgh @ Baltimore ; Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
Blue: New England @ Buffalo; Ian Eagle, Charles Davis
Green: NY Jets @ Kansas City; Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
Orange:Indianapolis @ Detroit; Andrew Catalon, James Lofton
Aqua: Tennessee @ Cincinnati ; Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta

Fox late game is Saints at Bears from Texas to the east, and Niners at Seattle from Colorado to the west.

Prime Time Games are a whole lot of nothing worth watching:

Thursday Night: Atlanta at Carolina
Sunday Night: Dallas at Philadelphia
Monday Night: Tampa Bay at NYG

Week 8 Lineup, with games between two teams with winning records bolded.

For the fourth week in a row the best game of the week is not being played in a typical prime slot, thanks to rescheduling of a postponed game. In week five the Titans-Bills played on a Tuesday; week six had the Bills-Chiefs kicking off at 5:00 ET on early MNF; last week the 5-0 Steelers played the 5-0 Titans in an early game, and this week the Steelers-Ravens game is in an early time slot.

The three night games are sad all-NFC snoozers destined to have viewers searching for something on Netflix. Wasn't Sunday Night Football supposed to be an NFL showcase for great competition? This week we have a 2-5 team on course to set a record for the worst defense in league history playing a 2-4-1 team for first place in their division.

Thursday: 3-4 Falcons at 1-6 Panthers (-2½)

Early Games:
4-2 Colts (-3) at 3-3 Lions
1-5 Vikings at 5-1 Packers (-6½)
2-4 Patriots at 5-2 Bills (-3½)
5-1 Titans (-5½) at 1-5-1 Bengals
3-3 Raiders at 5-2 Browns (-2½)
0-7 Jets at 6-1 Chiefs (-19½)
5-2 Rams (-3½) at 3-3 Dolphins
6-0 Steelers at 5-1 Ravens (-3½)

Late Games:
4-2 Saints (-4½) at 5-2 Bears
4-3 Niners at 5-1 Seahawks (-3)

2-4 Chargers (-3) at 2-4 Broncos

SNF: 2-5 Cowboys at 2-4-1 Eagles (-3½)
MNF: 5-2 Bucs (-10½) at 1-6 Giants

Thank you for posting these maps every week. I look at them every time to see what games I will see.

I really think the NFL needs to consider not having two teams from the NFC East play during prime time slots.

Carlos Dunlap traded to Seahawks. What’s Jermaine Cunningham up to?

i Still can’t believe bb drafted the wrong gator. After nailing McCourty and gronkowski with his first two picks. No one, no one who watched 2009 Univ of Florida thought cunningham would make a better nfl player than Dunlap, except one

Jets are +19.5 @ KC. LOL

I actually wouldn't touch that one. Backdoor cover probably

Everyone needs to root for Atlanta.

That is all.

Weird that the Bucs get 2 monday night games...usually every team gets 1.

Should I risk my life and go to the sports bar to watch this team?

Anyone watching this NFC Championship preview? lol

Ryan hasn’t looked quite like the MVP he was, having a rough year. I’d still take him if he was available.

Ryan is having himself a rough year. I’d still take him if he was available.
Notice the WRs on that team. Pretty impressive group, no ? What’s their record again ?

Atlanta is just one of many examples : team loaded at receiver, but it doesn’t translate to success in the standings.

Touche.

I really thought this team’s identity would morph into an offense that is on the ground and runs it down teams throats and doesn’t rely as much on the short passing game and timing routes.

Instead it feels like they still think it’s Brady running the show with his offense.

so...this utter CRAPOLA is what passes for NFL these days...and you guys wonder why I have always despised Goondell

Unfortunately the Pats game is not on UK SKY Sat TV , we have the Steelers/49'rs/Cowboys games.

Take the Billiards + the points for any line under double digits.

My reason for wanting the Fal-cons to win is that in case our season goes rapidly south, I want all the teams with 2 or fewer wins to start winning again so we can climb over them in the draft pickings...

Ravens might be the only team standing in the way of a 16-0 run for the Steelers.

Good thing Ravens OT Stanley signed that long term extension a few days ago. Taken off in a cart with a leg injury.

Baltimore is really taking it to them. Only up 7 due to a couple turnovers but they look far superior right now. Also could be an interesting development with Ben holding his arm very gingerly after coming down on it, I don't know if it's the same arm as the injury last year.
