A point differential of -86 through five games. Average score is 32-15. And they’ve played a pretty soft schedule so far. Upcoming games against Kansas City, Seattle, New England (x2), Buffalo, Rams, and Browns. This team will go 1-15 tops.

We need the pathetic Jete to win a few games so Googly Gaze retains his job.

Honestly?

Gase retaining his job would be so Jete. He'll probably throw Sam Darnold under the bus or some **** and blame the QB for all his failures. Has Gase EVER admitted to his own failures before?

Not sure how Gase keeps winning power struggles.

One of the worst signings in recent memory. This team is a long way away which is saying something bc the league is built to have quick turnarounds. You're not supposed to be 10, 20, 30 years bad lol. The have no leadership up top. No coaching to fall back on. Their QB is shell shocked. Look you may not have thought Darnold was a great prospect but the kid can play. We've seen worse do well with good coaching. Anyway their OL needs work. Defense as a whole needs an overhaul imo save for 2-4 players. Absolutely no weapons, no one that makes a DC scared. No one to game plan around. I can't understand how a team is so barren of talent after continually drafting so high. One would have to think Sam is on the block and Gase is out the door soon. This could be one of worse teams of all-time?

Starts with ownership, they're ownership hasn't figured it out and probably never will so nothing to worry about.

i wonder if they'd take a conditional 6th?
Nope, that would mean he'd come along with his terrible Jete contract. Now that da Jete have released him, his contract is no longer attached to Bell, although da Jete get to take a nice big cap hit.

Basically he sat out for a year rather than playing on the franchise tag, then da Jete gave him a top of market deal. Seems you gotta give players a premium to play in the open sewer that is the Jete natural habitat. Seems like Bell and da Jete deserved each other. Bell reboots his image as a malcontent, da Jete take a huge cap hit.

Lots of former Jete end up looking like decent players once they leave da Jete. Says a lot about that sad outfit.

The gift that keeps giving:
The Jets, who gave Bell a four-year, $52.5 million deal, will absorb a $15 million dead cap charge in 2020 and $4 million more in 2021, according to spotrac.com. The former Steelers Pro Bowler pocketed $28 million in 17 games with the Jets.

Cimini shows he's the Jete local boot licker. His starting point is always da Jete are making the right move. How can you say that about that open sewer of an organization? Anything for a buck, I suppose. It shows how much you have to bend over if you want to keep your press credentials. Da Jete can't handle the truth. Gaze is their man, he can do no wrong, till they fire his azz.

ANALYSIS: Dumping Bell is the right move for a team going nowhere, but the bigger question: How did it get to this point? Let’s look. #Jets

''How did it get this point''? Really, you have to ask? Heres the answer...Because its the Jest, thats how. I'm going on 67, the jete have SUCKED since i was in junior high school.

Mehta points out all the dumb things the Jete do, even criticizing moves that their lord and savior Joe Douglas has made. Cimini knows he can't do that and keep his Jete press credentials, and since they are his meal ticket he won't point out the obvious truth, that a fish rots from the head first.

How did it get to this point? Well you keep hiring GMs and coaches on alternating years so you have someone to fire each off season. The owner's last big organizational move takes the cake, they let Maccagnon do the draft then fire him and hire Douglas so he has to deal with a bunch of young players he didn't pick. Then whatever moves Douglas makes do not fit in with the Maccagnon picks so the team is of course going to suck. And now you have a left over coach with a new GM and wonder why they are 0-5.
