OT: Official 2020 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Very well said!!!
The reason is straightforward, and I’m guilty of it myself: we’re left behind with the Patriots. As Pats fans 1st and foremost, we hope that the side that stays behind in this divorce comes out ahead. If BB left to coach the Giants after 2017 and Brady stayed behind here, there would be just as many of these types of comments against BB as there are against Brady now.

I’m rooting for Brady to do well.... but not too well that it makes it look like the Pats made the wrong decision. I just can’t help it, I just want to make sure my team made the right choice. I’m still peeved that they couldn’t work something out between them to keep this going. Brady isn’t peak Brady, but who’s a better QB than him if you need someone in 2020? Mahomes and Wilson, yes. Everyone else is debatable in my opinion.

Clearly you're showing you're not willing to refute anything I'm saying and instead you're attacking my motivations.

That's known as a personal attack, you're attacking me as a person, not my opinion.

Go ahead, I just wrote a long post with five points, have at it, or admit you have nothing.
That's what you think? What I'm hoping it actually shows is an unwillingness to get mired in a nonsensical argument. I have far far far better things to do with my time, Bill Lee. Sorry you feel attacked. But keep the laughs coming though. Much appreciated.

Not poor, just average.

We've been spoiled by elite coaching for so long.

I think undisciplined play can be a sign of poor coaching. You cant get into 3rd and 30s against the good teams and expect to win.

Next week will be telling against a much better team in the packers.

Poor situational awareness.Tom forgetting that it was 4th down, and giving Nick Fole 14 points under 2 min before the 1st half.

I think if they had Cam or Stidham, or even Stidham immediately after halftime they would have beaten the Chiefs the other night.

INTs matter.

3rd string Stidham only completed 38% of his throws. Stidham showed me nothing to believe that he is the Pats QB of the future.

can't think of a QB who put up Stidham's stat line including 2 INTs in one quarter, who went on to be a decent starting QB.

.

I saw this game coming. I stated before the game that it was going to be tough for the Bucs to win on short rest, on the road, hobbled vs a good Bears defense. The officiating was putrid also, but credit to the Bears defense they kept hitting TB all game long. I do see the Bucs winning vs GreenBay though, Godwin makes a huge huge impact.

Arians ****ty vertical offense doesn't help -- especially in the 2min situation they were in at the end -- but with like 39 seconds left you gotta take the easier throw for a first down instead of banging a low percentage throw down the seam:

Especially if you only need like another 15 yards for a fg after.

I was wondering about that too on the replay but it looks like there's two bears defenders that could converge. Not sure he had anything else open so probably should have thrown it to that guy. But if the guy doesn't make it Brady would have been crucified for going for the checkdown and not going down the field even if nothing was open.

I’m sure Brady has thrown 2 ints in a quarter

I think that's what we're getting. He is 3-2, which is respectable but not overwhelming, and he is having a season which is respectable but not overwhelming.

I tell ya this: After last night, I think he misses having a well coached team. Those Bucs are ugly.

Is he for sure playing?

In other words, you can't refute any of my posts, all you have is childish name calling and mockery.

So does Aaron Rogers, much more so than Nick Foles.

Name calling? Where?

You know what? Don't answer that. I can see my own post just fine. Have a great day, Bill Lee. Your posts made my day.

Obviously you're a Brady hater who refuses to give him credit for his GOAT accomplishments on defense
If BB knew what he was doing, he'd have had Brady playing DB against the Iggles in that SB. Maybe he'd finally have gotten a win against Foles.

Name calling: nonsensical.

At least you don't push back on the idea that all you have is childish mockery.

Still can't refute my posts, eh?
