Stop being obtuse. By this logic you are trying to claim that Patrick Mahomes should be considered just as "awful" - as he is considered "great" - due to the 1st half of his performance in the playoffs for his Super Bowl run.

Brady was significantly more "great" in the 2nd half, than has was "bad" in the 1st half. So, don't even attempt to bring the "good/bad," "black/white" "heads/tails," logic to this discussion. His stats are fantastic. By your logic, they should be completely average; since the one half was "bad" & the other was "good."

Brady really needs to stop dropping those passes.

So after the super bowl vs Atlanta we shouldn’t have praised him for the comeback cause of the first half. What an embarrassing take absolutely comical

I think we can all say the Chargers are an average team.
Therefore it does not say a lot about Tampa to beat the Chargers by 6.
In fact the pre-game line was 5.5 so they just barely beat the spread.
In short, they did what was expected of them.
Not terrible and not great.

Hi guys,
I am a bit late coming to this thread as I was on a bike ride after that game. A few observations:
1) That was vintage Brady in the second half. 2007 Brady. Strapped the team to his back.
2) His arm looks the best I have seen as well as his pocket presence. His confidence and swag is at a high point right now.
3) He most likely wins NFC conference player of the week with that performance.
4) Gronk's catch in the second half was sick. Pulled the ball away from the defender.
5) Mike Evans is an absolute beast. If he looks that good hurt, I can only imagine what he will do when healthy.
6) Nice to see Tampa make excellent half time adjustments on both sides of the ball. I was wondering about their coaching overall but it was very good today after a rough first half.

Agreed, and the funny thing is, there have been a lot of drops by TB WR's and especially the RBs. I believe I read they lead the League in drops and today was no exception.

If they start clicking on all cylinders for 4 quarters, it will be blistering. It does beg the question what Brady's career might have looked like if Bill actually surround him top level talent for the majority if his career like Manning had.
