This is the league that collectively forgot the ideal gas law did anyone really expect them to get covid right?

I get the dig, and I certainly appreciate it, but there is no getting the coronavirus (mod note: don't use that term again, please) right.

Where’s the players union in all of this? They get bent over every time they come to the table, but it’s unfortunate they bent over again this year in particular.

There is getting the response closer or farther from correct. Both the NFL and POTUS got it very far from correct. Note that I mention POTUS not as a political comment but to point out that with the US having a case rate astronomically higher than the rest of the world it is much more challenging for the NFL to get it right.

Too busy fighting to be allowed to smoke weed and make bank. They had an opportunity to punt DeMaurice Smith and his pathetic leadership and chose not to.

You're wrong on both, though I don't factor in the Sweden approach when saying that.

Is it not possible to pursue allowing players to use cannabis and advocate for other issues, too?

This whole, binary, "because you focused on 'x' issue, therefore you can't focus on 'y'" isn't necessarily true.

Am I correct in ass-uming that Cam was re-tested in order to rule out a false positive?

Did they just choose to ignore that people can test negative several days after exposure? Just because no-one tested positive today doesn't mean they won't on Monday or Tuesday or god forbid after the game.
Roger Goodell. Not a science guy.

Yes. Yes they are. The NFLPA should be going ballistic. I guess they don't carte about player safety, either.

If they take the flight, half the team will be infected & the season will be cooked. If the league forces the team to play & endanger the players in the process, the team needs to forfeit the game and protect the team for the rest of the season.

The reality is they have no chance of beating KC with a back-up QB that hasn't practiced all week. Let the league explain the networks why one of the best games on the schedule won't be played.

If they do take the flight, I hope every Patriot player that contracts COVID this week sues the pants off the league & gets that corporate stuffed suit, Goodell, fired.

Flying Monday for a Monday night game seems likely. Not commenting on desirable.

MNF doubleheader with Pats/Chiefs as the added attraction? Then how does CBS get paid?

or Tuesday night game on CBS?

Would Cam still be out even though the game is rescheduled to Mon/Tues?
