I agree. He missed a whole season of football. He is with the GOAT and they will figure it out. I expect Gronk to make impact plays especially as Tampa comes down the stretch just like he did for us in 2018.

I say this not as an attempt to smack down your post, but because your post gives me the opportunity to have a mini-rant on something I've been thinking about posting, so please don't take offense. Here goes:



Since when is having an advantage at home something for the league to prevent? Why didn't the league build variable fan noise into the system this year, instead of leveling off a field that's never been level? They let the architecture in Seattle happen in such a way that it increases the noise level and makes it the biggest HFA in the league. The league put a team in Denver, where the altitude gives Denver a completely unfair advantage. Hot area teams have advantages when it's hot and cold area teams have advantages when it's cold. K.C. has the loudest stadium/fan combo in the league, but that's gone now. Dome v. open air, various types of turf, east coast v. west coast travel, etc... And some teams draw like **** compared to others, or have smaller stadiums.

All this is built into the cake and accepted, but people are worried about unfair advantages all of the sudden?

No worries. No offense taken. I agree with your rant here for the most part. I think with this year it is unfair because some states have not allowed fans at all like MA. I see the advantage not so much about noise but about the emotional boost fans give to the home team when they are in the stands. Even 20k is a lot of fans when you look up as opposed to none. That being said, this is not a year to expect things to be on the level so teams just have to deal. I am happy that Tampa and Tom gets to have fans. I hope MA is not far behind so the Pats can get some fan support too.

There is a difference between organic crowd noise created by enthusiastic, emotional, living, breathing fans...... and manufactured sound produced by an audio wonk so eager to hit the boo button.
But then again, I have always despised these stadium audio wonks who overwhelm the senses with 80’s heavy metal after every play
