Can you explain for me why your beast of a running back is averaging 3.5 ypc behind the best OL in the league?
The Raiders haven’t had their starting offense line yet this season. ( they starting their 4th string ot( best backup guard Denzel Good) Trent Brown played three plays. R Incognito out now for three weeks.( rookie guard starting). Hopeful journeyman Sam Young can go at Rt, and D Good can slide into R Incognito spot.

Two games don’t make a season( with no preseason games) It takes time for the running game to gell. I guaranteed by season end he will be more closer to 5 yards per carry. He drops 150 yards on 20 carries this week. What will his average be. Silly to base anything on two games. Let’s see after this game if your opinion changed on a Josh Jacobs.

If you wanna make some money and less talk go bet 10 points or less for your lords of average :)

You’ve said some pretty absurd ****, but calling someone a younger Edelman who hasn’t accomplished much takes the cake. Happy for you that you’ve got some exciting young players on your team, but good luck to Renfrow to have half the career accomplishments Edelman has had.

You came in here with some reasonable posts at first. Since then, literally everything you've said has been nonsense based on 2 games. Stop trolling. We'll see you after the game, but something tells me maybe not.

We can’t judge the Raiders in 2 games but you can judge the Patriots? Get real. As fans, we can make all the excuses in the world, but we haven’t. We can complain about losing the heart of our LB corps, losing our starting safety, losing our starting RT, now losing our starting Center, losing our FB’s, having a QB with hardly any reasonable time in our system, losing blah blah blah. It’s next man up in New England. We won’t know the identity of this team till mid season. We will lose some we should win, and win some we should lose, but barring anymore setbacks, I can guarantee teams will be more worried about playing us at the end of the season. If there’s one thing Raider fans aren’t short of, it’s confidence. Except when your guys are playing like ****. That’s when you all crawl in your little holes. For such a rabid fan base, ya’ll are one helluva bandwagon group.

But none of that is an issue this week right? It's all fixed? All systems a go and ready to run roughshod in Foxboro with no receiving threats to keep the defense honest?

The Patriots defense will know Renfrow tomorrow. Third down and Renfrow- its Self explanatory . Henry Ruggs at 70% isn’t better than Rico Gafford at 100%.( hope to see him activated for the first time). The Raiders haven’t needed to count on Zay Jones or Nelson Agholor, - but both have delivered the few chances they got..

With Ruggs down, the other rookie starter ( B Edwards) is going to get more chances In the offense. Raiders could play Waller at Wr , with B Edwards outside. With Hunter Renfrow in the slot. With F Moreau T Te, All the Raider Rbs are serious weapons in the passing game.

Raiders I expect to move the football between 20-20 yard line. They have to score TDS, and not field goals.

Gilmore is going to be assigned to a Vegas WR who is in for a long day. Sounds like Renfrow and not some wet behind the ears rookie.

With the exception of the Seahawks and the best QB in the NFC Wilson most teams are able to move the ball between the 20s but not so much in the redzone. With Waller bracketed, Vegas passing the ball plays right into NE hands because Jacobs isnt getting touches. If Gruden wants to operate a passing camp and let Jacobs block so be it.

Andrews and Uche to IR, which given the new rules makes all the sense in the world. Open up roster spots for players coming back from IR after this week and give Uche time to stop reaggravating his injury.

I know someone around here who will be happy about Zuber being elevated. Right @Ross12 ? Good thing we just signed Ferentz to the PS. He was solid in his two starts last year. Not particularly good but was able to hold the fort.

After the report that Edelman’s knee is not doing well I am not thrilled that they called up Zuber.

I agree. That does not bode well.

My biggest concern is that we are overrating our defense. We beat up on crappy Miami in week one (by the way, Miami looks a whole lot better the last 2 weeks so perhaps week 1 is a bit of an aberration) and then we got smoked by Seattle. All of us seem to just be chalking up the game to Wilson's brilliance and he is brilliant right now but what if our defense is really just not that good? The secondary is pretty stout but the front 7 is awful. All the losses in FA and to Covid tap outs came home to roost in a big way. I am terrified of the Raiders to run all over us with our lack of LBs and smallness up front. I still think we are better than the Raiders but man if our defense truly is mediocre and Cam is without Andrews, White and Edelman, it could be a long day.

Shocked. Completely and utterly shocked.

LOL. Not "intellectual" enough for you?

I really don't care how intellectual you seem or not ... it's just impossible to not notice how you take the most cynical, pessimistic approach to everything related to the Patriots, while out the other side of your mouth saying with certainty that Gronk will return to his 2016 form by week 8.

If that isn't objective evidence of anti-Patriots bias, I'm not sure what is.

Of course you care. It's adorable.

My concerns about this game: Offensive Center and the defensive front-7. I think the DL will be okay but I worry about the LBs. Expect to see more Jennings and Dugger in the box.

Areas that I'm encouraged about: Carr vs. Belichick/this secondary. Newton in general. Burkhead. Harry, Byrd. The OL outside of the C.

Areas that I'm intrigued about: Can JE surive another game? Can Michel finally play well? If Michel is MIA again, what about JJ Taylor? Will Meyers or Zuber have an impact? Will our TEs finally be involved? Asiasi is going to be a special receiver. Who plays C - Froholdt or Ferentz (personally I'd like to see Froholdt).

You've said nothing to address the actual substance/content of my response, both today and going back earlier this week.

I'd respect you a lot more if you tried to have an honest, open discussion about your feelings/fandom as it relates to the Pats post-Brady. It'd probably be an interesting discussion and we might find we have some overlapping thoughts/feelings.

I think the Raiders will try to run all day if they can. They are stout up front. If they can't run then they go up against our strength. I think Cam despite the injuries can get some points in this game. Not sure if the Raiders defense can do much well.

LOL. This is a football forum not Dr. Phil. You can infer anything you want based on whatever posts you want. I come here to talk football.

Its likely good old situational football. BB will limit Jacobs yards and not let him break the big play. Thats fine. Vegas can work its way down the field to the redzone where it gets real where Jacobs must be kept under wraps. Double Waller and place Gilmore on the Raiders best WR.
