TB's O-line stinks and really blew not trading for Trent Williams for a measly 4th. The guy has been ridiculous for the 9ers so far and blocked Chandler Jones with ease week 1. The Jets game was a joke and the 9ers backups outscored the pathetic Jets.

Go back and watch and show me where he was bad. I rewatched for Brady specifically and he was remarkably on target despite getting blasted. He moved around the pocket like an expert. It was a great performance. A lot of his completions were contested precisely because the Patriots OL was stressed all game.

Sounds like you watched a different game. 56 passer rating is not a “fantastic game” on any planet. He was way off target especially downfield. Even when the rush didn’t get there. Seeing ghosts as defenses have had that effect on him every now and then.

Their OL isn't that bad at all. They could afford to give up the draft pick, but probably not enough to fit Williams under the cap.

The OL has a couple of weak points, but TB couldn't have afforded Williams. It's not the pick, necessarily, but the $12.5m

Wow, if I never liked Brady, why did I go to Super Bowl 51? Why did I spend thousands on his autographed jersey and football? Why did I spend thousands on one of his best rookie cards?

Because you're a hypocrite.

And your significant other, sb1, is just a felger-ish troll.

But I'm not trashing you or anything.

Gronk basically admits he's there to block, so when he's in the game, teams are going to know not to take him seriously...

Dumb take. Try a little thinking outside of the box once in a while. Hell, try thinking inside of the box now and then.

They afforded Gronk's $9m 4 days before Williams got traded. It would have been one or the other but Williams clearly would have been the better choice and it was the same situation both didn't play at all in the 2019 season and would have been FA's after the season.

I understand the thinking was they were getting a guy Brady has been historically great with but they had a hole at OT (spent a 1st round pick on an OT) and already had 2 decent TEs on the roster

IDK PFT says differently

maybe Gronk turns it around and really still is Elite gronk. But history tells me that 2018 superbowl year was no fluke and he was on the downswing...

it also doesnt help that Arians doesnt believe in using his tight ends and is stubborn in his offensive philosophy

I'd wait until at least mid-season before critiquing Gronk's performance.

You have to remember he has been out of football for one year- and if reports are true, he's been struggling with the level of humidity in TB. So, as Tony says, let's give him until halfway through the season before dumping on him.

And yes, for sure, Arians is pretty inflexible in not using TE's in his offense.

Gronk is done and honestly it should have been no surprise.

FYI, living in your mom's basement doesn't count as a man cave.

Surely, 70 year olds have something better to do than spend all their time trashing people on a message board...

For what it's worth, Gronk did say in his press conference that the speed of the game was overwhelming to him in Week 1 it slowed down more in week 2. So maybe we should judge his performance after Week 8. He was out of the game for a full year

The Buccaneers have announced that, for the Week Four contest against the Chargers, they’ll have a limited number of fans for a “soft opening.”

The process will begin with all continuous season-ticketholders since 1998 or earlier having dibs. Both of them will have the ability to buy a limited number of tickets on October 1.

For the Week Seven game against the Packers, the Bucs will fill the venue to approximately 25 percent of full stadium capacity, with season-ticketholders who allowed the team to retain their 2020 payments as credit for 2021 getting the ability to buy tickets for up to two of the six remaining home games.
