I noticed Izzo getting a few mentions (positive ones !) , is it too late , will he be the third TE

If they cut him now, and he moves at top speed, he might be able to run to the locker room and clean his stuff out by the end of 2021.

4.53 at 228 lbs. 38.5 vert (84th percentile for WRs). 88th percentile SPARQ score. 15.0 ypc his junior year. Yup, below average athlete. Trying to out-douche Capt. Stone will bullsh*t posts, I see. You were off the grid for several weeks during the offseason. Those were good times.

The guy was one of the youngest players in his draft class (won't be 22 until December), missed a huge amount of practice time in the preseason and for the first 8 weeks of the season, when he returned was still expected by the Pats fan base to be the savior for the offense and then was not allowed to work through growing pains because of his rookie-phobic quarterback, who seemingly made no effort to boost Harry's confidence.....unless the lack of public support, head-shaking, sideline helmet-slamming and bench-pouting was a TB12 reverse-psychology confidence-boosting technique. I've written this before but please look and at Brown's stats and Deebo's game logs last years....neither looked like rookie impact WRs until the second half of the season.

Now the Harry-haters (what has the kid done to deserve the hate?) here are back in full force, again labeling him a bust after a few practices, only half in full pads, based upon tweets by media members who largely don't know what the f*ck they are talking/writing about and who certainly don't know or understand what the Pats coaching staff is trying to accomplish during these workouts. Harry's physical style is not going to be fully demonstrated in intersquad practices.

There are definitely posters here (and we know most of the candidates) who pretend to be die-hard Pats fans but who are secretly rooting for Harry to be fail, despite his importance to their success this year. It is more important to them to be right about their premature "He's a bust" predictions (mainly to fit the "Belichick is a terrible GM" narrative) or because it could reflect poorly on Brady if Harry has a successful season with a new QB. He may indeed end up being a poor pick by the Pats but to root for him to fail is disgusting.

So it looks like my prediction of Justin Rohrwasser getting released could be on schedule from draft day.

I called Sanu getting cut during the off season prior to the FA/draft but backed off due to nobody relevant getting added to the roster. I would be surprised if he were cut at this point.

Nobody cares about your prediction track record, Nostradamus.

You get triggered way too easily.

Oh one more for you...I also predicted the Pats would sign Newton/be starting QB. Things are looking good for me right now.

You may be on to something but it stems from the over-the-top, never-ending negativity of some posters here. It's ridiculous. Pitino was spot on when he he talked about The Fellowship of the Miserable.

Not sure about those last two qualities unfortunately.

Is he Tyreek hill? No. Considering how massive of a human he is..hes pretty damn fast. Not the best/fastest route runner but with the ball in his hand.. When he can rely on his instincts he hits a diff gear. When he hits that gear hes a load to bring down. As far as agility... Im sorry we can agree to disagree. Relative to his size he makes a ton of people miss with sweet jukes and studder steps.

Don't you recall that non TD that was a TD vs the Chiefs? Pretty good example of the athleticism/agility.

The issue is health AND his raw route running/footwork. In college he could rely on his strength and massive size.. In the pros not so much. One way or another theyll find ways to get him the ball....if the only ways we get him the a
Ball is through reverses and sweeps - than he was a massive reach.

If he can tie it together and run routes and consistently beat coverage - he was worth it. He is athletically THAT good.

Been really impressed with Ross’s ability to get separation against arguably the best and deepest secondary in the nfl.
He does not appear to have Newton’s trust, but I like what I see from Ross. He has outplayed Meyers, gunner and Hastings thus far.

Agreed. As I said in another post, the haters never relent: even if a hated player succeeds, they only go silent and lurk hoping he will eventually fail.

Lighten up, Francis.

It's a joke about how he's run so far. Untwist your panties, because discussions about his playing speed and struggles playing fast enough to get separation is not something limited to a couple of people on a sports forum. His track time while running in his underwear ceased to have any meaning the moment he actually got on the football field and we saw his game speed. And you can like a team but not like a player, just as you can like a player but not like a team.

If you can't take a little bit of humor about Harry's questionable speed, humanity may not be for you.

Only in your eyes has he "outplayed" Gunner. All reports don't say that at all.

It's pretty easy to outplay Hastings with him not having seen the field much..

The problem with you, Deus, is that you have a BS excuse for everything. You're actually worse than Andy Johnson. You've NEVER admitted to being wrong even when people showed you to be wrong with actual facts.

You're claims at your post being humor is nothing but SPIN on your part. It shows how big of a complete DB you actually are.

Take it with a grain of salt but Wise is now in the 280s.

Nice to read that about draft binkie :)

If any of these guys would care to add some context to make these stats a bit less meaningless that would be .. well, reporting, so i guess its too much to ask..

Id be interested to know who he beat on those plays. Over left side of Wynn & Thuney is quite a different picture than over plethora of Qs at RT or lower tier OL units..

Regarding the offense: "We are going to see significant changes to New England’s offensive scheme, a drastic shift from the Brady era."

"On Friday, McDaniels told CLNS Media that he’s drawing inspiration from Newton himself and quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch to adapt the scheme to his new quarterback’s strengths. "

Called this a long time ago.

Damien Harris: I think him and Michel should share duties on early downs and see who gets the hot hand.

N’Keal Harry: Lazar nails it on Harry. He really needs to improve getting out of his breaks and needs to be more of an"Alpha". He's a physically imposing WR and needs to set the tone for the group.

Mohamed Sanu: Lazar's surprise cut/trade candidate but they should keep him due to the possibility of injuries with this group.

Isaiah Wynn: Wynn is going to be a good T for years to come.

Shaq Mason: Good to hear about Mason.

Chase Winovich: disappointing to hear this so far.

JC Jackson: Pay him now!

Joejuan Williams: He's my trade candidate. 49ers would be a great landing spot.

From Lazar's magnus opus that BGC linked:

Deatrich Wise: Wise’s spot seems safe due to the lack of depth along the defensive line. He’s a one-on-one’s standout and even beat Thuney on Thursday during drills. His edge setting might’ve taken a slight step forward too. Wise is one of New England’s best one-on-one pass rushers in a group that’s lacking those types of players.

Having a healthy Shaq Mason and an unclotted David Andrews will do wonders for our O-line
