I always liked Dorsett. Really nice person. But he flamed out in Indy, and then did not do well here. Chances of a huge turn around in Seattle are slim.

What he's got going for him in Seattle is twofold:

1. Fast WR on the other side that will help with opening the field
2. A QB who plays off script as much as any in the league, and holds the ball long enough for speed guys who are originally covered to finally get loose.

(well, threefold if you count having a coach who'll put up with the above happening time after time after time)

Buffalo fans are very sensitive about Josh haha. Bills Mafia is funny. I envy them in a way. Wearing pajamas all day & night sounds comfy.

Seriously though what's so bad about admitting the truth about Allen. If he improves his awareness, timing & decision making he'll be a top 10-15 QB. If not you gotta get hot. Play smart, pick your shots & grind it on offense. Nothing wrong with that when you have a defense like that. Coaching staff has been the 2nd best in the division. They're not far off at all there. Pats v Bills should be something this year. Crowd or not. Teams are actually similar.
They ran a ton of nub sets last year. Running game staples. Two big, athletic QBs that can flash big time, good & bad depending on who and the day.

Defensively they have smart, versatile backers. Tough, smart, top tier secondary.

Should be a fun matchup

Jesus .. wtf is happening ... Hopefully it's contained & hasn't spread. Cancer is just awful. Once you get it, you can beat it but it never really leaves. Seems like it always comes back. Terrible news when the world is already hurting enough.

Can't imagine fighting this & Covid. Hopefully they have multiple doctor's checking up on him if he's still a full go at HC. Which it sounds like he is for now.

Agreed. It will be interesting if teams with a speed CB like Jon Jones feel the need to play 2 high safeties with Dorsett and Metcalf on the field. I doubt it. Maybe the scrambling QB and the coach's patience will help him.

I think the switch to Byrd is a good move.

Btw this doesn't "clear the air". Thomas is looking really poor. Guy might be a HOF but is a head case. I thought he'd be happy there but if he can't make it there. On a top 5-6 team who's babying him where's he going to go and maintain?

Right idea but too slow and have to have better placement. If you're going to elect to go outside with your hands you have to get them underneath, right in armpits.
Again right idea with the hop step. Too late, he actually gets caught in the air. After that you're dead walking steps, one by one like that. Usually its a 2 hop then anchor but you can get away with one.

Amazing how quickly **** gets real for these guys. Top dog one minute then looking like a pup the next.
