Ok .. pick 23. What's my take?

DONT TAKE QB OR WR.

OLINE. OR TE. BIG GUY PICK.

OLINE, TE , OR STUD LB.. BEST PLAYER/ATHLETE AVAILABLE

Call it now, are we picking at #23, trading up, or trading down to the second?

I didn't see any others when I posted - I dug a little deeper and saw several people saying "What do you mean Dob?" and he was mostly responding with "I think it's clear" etc.

I thought he looked pretty good year 1 but as you said, injuries. He had a better year 1 than Harry. But - again - injuries.

Oh I didnt realize you missed some of the other tweets.

The thing to keep in mind about the last tweet is that this was one of the rare occasions where BB even released a press statement to clear up that the entire report about Dobson being disrespectful was ********.

Tough **** he could never overcome.

I really don't like Herbert, but I love Love. I'm not sure if I can explain it.
Hard to like Herbert. The potential is there but his eyes drop way too quickly for my liking when the rush is on. Way too quick to flee the pocket.

Meh. If Kmet is the target in round 1, I’d like to see a slight trade back. Maybe they can find a team in the late first to swap a 3rd for a 2nd by moving down. Kmet likely won’t be available at 87, so I can understand it if they take him tonight. I’m more intrigued by his teammate Chase Claypool as a possible TE convert, TBH.

In the end it was just injuries. I thought he had the talent to be a good player. Liked him more than I liked Harry coming out, for what it's worth. Dobson played in a worse conference but could at least get open regularly.

I'm in the same boat with Claypool. He at least might create mismatches. Kmet's pedestrian, just the kind of guy you draft because the tight end pool is really shallow and you've determined you need a tight end. Most tight ends coming out of college just aren't very good anymore, teams overdraft them because unless you're the Cardinals you need one, but only a few college teams use them so those guys are all there are.

I'm ready...are you?

While I like Kmet, that’d be a reach @ #23. I’d rather Trautman‘s value in the late 2nd/3rd (assuming we acquire a 2nd somewhere along the line AND he’s still available.)

If he stayed healthy they might have had a shot at Mile High in the AFCCG. Especially if Talib had not gotten injured.

Still vividly remember Slater running deep routes and Brady overthrowing Edelman.

Prediction...Pats either trade down or draft some guy described as a "reach" tonight.... and immediately the fan boys and Pats footie pajamas people will be on here telling us it was a great trade / pick...

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Smoke and mirrors lol

If we stay with our 23rd pick, I hope we will skip TE. DL,LB or maybe OT would be my choice. However it all depends on prospects and their evaluation by BB.

Yeah. I wouldn’t be too excited about Kmet at 23. I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot of potential reaches tonight. Should be interesting.

TODAY IS THE 23rd. Stay at 23. !!
It's about the player, so the stud big guy OT,TE,LB that they have identified could be worth moving a few spots.. IDK

Nobody does. This nfl draft is always a fluid aituation. IMO

Brian Kelly sucks at utilizing tight ends just saying

I’m by NO means a draft expert, but I don’t see why #23 & a 3rd rounder this year + a 2021 1st rounder wouldn’t do it; particularly if we’re dealing with one of BB’s disciples (NYG, DET, MIA) or a team like CAR/AZ who reportedly are looking to move back in the draft. Just a hunch...Maybe someone like @BaconGrundleCandy, @mgteich or @DW Toys would be of more assistance regarding draft trade value.
I could see a small discount on Tua if he falls out the lottery. Don't think the cost will be as great as we've seen in years past. Inside the top ten you're paying a big price injuries or not.

I think we'd have to give up more to jump to top 10 spot.

If we’re going TE, the only one I’d take a flyer on is Harrison Bryant only because he’s a bit raw and may be able to shine with the right coaching. Short of that? The position may need to be looked at again next season.
