Is it your position that Belichick never moves up in the first? I suspect that he has moved up as often as he has moved down.

As far as rumors being BS, of course we should ignore all rumors.

He has NEVER traded up into the top 10 or even top 15.

He’s got that Kamara always make that first guy Miss type ability. Kamara was overlooked (Even by butch jones) and Clyde will be too.

I really believe CEH will be great. Been on his D for months no homo
Yea he's got a few elite traits for sure. I bet a lot of OC are hoping he ends up on their team. Big time rec & pass pro but can run power too.

Reminder that Bill has drafted teammates 12 times, I believe. Definitely think we'll that continue the next two years with all our picks.

Good thread on Moss

I'd bet that one of the advantages the Patriots create for themselves is practicing the teleconferencing that will replace the in-person draft room. Teleconference meetings, especially those with urgency around decision making, take discipline and rules to do well. The Pats coaching staff will have the forethought to give it a few dry runs to get the staff ready, where other teams may not.

Personally, the only player that’s at least projected to go in the first round that would irritate me if drafted at #23, would be Xavier McKinney.

Pretty sure he traded up for Hightower too...

Both Hightower and Jones were trades up. But not into the top 10/15, so that poster is technically right.

Belichick has traded up 4 times in the 1st round.
- 2002, moved up from 32 to 21 to select Daniel Graham.
- 2003, as mentioned moved from 14 to 13 to pick up Warren.
- 2012 twice, from 27 to 21 for Chandler Jones, and from 31 to 25 for Donta Hightower.

\.

Don't remind me...as opposed to Ed Reed.

You are just moving the goalposts. I didn't even mention the top 15, other than agreeing someone else's 15-17, so I guess I mentioned 15. We would need to move into 15-18. You think that NEVER covers this scenario. I don't think that Belichick has such silly rules, especially since he has traded up so often.

I made a simple statement. I said that the I believe the patriots under Belichick has been just as likely to trade up as trade down in the first round of the draft. Do you disagree, and disagree enough to SHOUT?
