I'd love for the Pats to trade Thuney #23 and a 3rd to Detroit then trade #3 and a future pick or two to Washington for the best player in the draft. Chase Young is a friggin animal.
Depending on which chart we use, you're valuing Thuney at somewhere around the 10th-13th overall pick.

Yeah, I don't think that would even work in Madden.

He's not going to play for BB again. So it's the position of both of you that the Patriots would rather waste an asset than take less than a 3rd round pick for that asset?
It's not what I said. IMO Tampa would trade a 3, if TB12 has anything to say about it, for Gronk. Nowhere else did I say the Pats would take only a 3 or no deal. We know how BB operates. He could say "F.U., stay retired" for all I know.

When has BB been known to completely blow an asset, on purpose? We know that he'll overpay. We know that he'll undercharge. But when has he completely pissed away an asset in this sort of situation?

Edit: This is not a "gotcha" attempt. I'm genuinely curious as to whether or not I've forgotten such a case.

I'm not getting into a pissing contest from getting misquoted.
Just to answer your last question:
Adam Schefter of ESPN was a guest on ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike" and was adamant in shooting down any trade rumors, saying flat out, the Patriots are not going to trade Garoppolo.

"I am aggravated because we said last we week he is not getting traded," said Schefter. "He is not getting traded last week. He is not getting traded this week. He is not getting traded next week. He is not getting traded ... It's not happening. I mean honestly, next topic."
OOps, I think Billy pissed away an asset (yup, Kraft made him do it) instead of getting a first rounder (we don't know for sure though...wait for the book), just like he did with our 2nd rounder this year (yup, Brady made him do it).

I've always said Bill choose insurance > value with Jimmy.

I think the Patriots as always are open for business.
I saw a article that said the Patriots would be willing to move Gilmore for a 3 and 6 I hope it was a joke.
For me It’s a starting WR or a Second.

Gilmore is under contract for 2 more years at a good price for the buyer.

The Rams gave 2 first round picks & a 4th for Jalen Ramsey & Gilmore is better than Ramsey.

Although Ramsey is younger, Gilmore is still in his prime.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This is downright embarrassing. These are the best of best? If I'm Watson I'm asking to be dealt. This is nuts.

So O’Brien thinks Cooks and Hopkins have the same value?

Wow!

So now Houston doesn’t pick until r3.

Edit: forgot about the pick for Hopkins so they still have a 2nd this year.

This might be the closest thing to Kevin Costner’s character in “Draft Day”.

At this rate Cooks could end up playing on every nfl team

Cooks made $1.6 million from the Patriots for a season and over $38 million from the Rams for two seasons.

Ya know what good for Cooks lol. I believe the rams are also late on a payment to Todd Gurley

Almost 20M to Cobb. In 2020.
