IF BB decides to move both Gilmore and JE11 then a good place to send both would be Minnesota. They have a good team but could really use both players. They have draft capital as well.
I'm not saying we should trade them but the subject of both players being moved has come up on this board.
I'd have to see where Minnesota is on cap space.
They did just sign Taje Sharpe.
Im thinking Gilmore to the Lions with 23
For their pick where we either take Tua or trade it to Houston for DeShawn.

DeShawn keeps putting up posts about being unhappy basically untrusted Obrein in these tweets.
If McNair is dumb enough to keep Obrein over Watson we should oblige him.

They lost pretty much all their CB's. Sharpe is not a CB1 and better suited to CB3.
I think they have over $10 mill available in cap space. They have the needs and the money to absorb both players.

Reports of a deal between the Jaguars and cornerback Darqueze Dennard surfaced more than a week ago, but the Jaguars didn’t make the deal official at any point and they won’t be making it official in the future.

The team put out word on Thursday that the deal will not be moving forward because they could not agree on final contract terms with Dennard. That will put Dennard back on the open market.

I mentioned the ramsey trade earlier in regards to gilmore. That was two 1sts and a 4th. So that plus thuney for a proven qb might not be crazy.

Whether or not they should do it is a different question.
Would you do it?

I'm not sure. I like Watson, but he can be a bit up and down. And this deal would limit us in terms of building around him.

On the other hand, are we going to be in a position to get anyone with his potential anytime soon? And he's still young.

I wouldn't hate it. I guess that's as close as I can get to answering your question.

No problem.
