And? Fauci is trying to suck up just enough so that Trump doesn't fire him and replace him with one of Trump's idiot cronies who will proceed to screw things up more.

Lt Gov Dan Patrick

he cut the office
You cannot reason with people who take what trump says at face value or are willing to pretzel logic his words to mean the opposite of what he says.

I love this guy. Standing up for what is right against the crook in office. Can we vote him in?

Speaking of Gov. Cuomo, his interview with his brother, Chris, on CNN last night was a weird mix of good and awkward. We got to see the leadership we've seen in his press conferences which was the good part. The awkward part came when the two took brotherly jabs at each other, with the awkwardness exacerbated by the technical glitches and delays in the connection between sites. Seemed to derail the serious discussion. I will say that their poking fun at each other worked much better at the end once they were done talking serious business and they genuinely have affection for each other.

Regards,
Chris

Can we please get back to discussing the importance airplane emissions play in the fight again corona virus?

well, Trump was too busy taking crap over a fake impeachment...one that had no shot at getting through the Senate and was admittedly done by Pelosi to put an asterisk on his presidency.

Trump was impeached so how could it have been fake?

Corona virus people ... please stay on topic.

Jesus, I get it. Why cant anyone get that there's such a thing as personal responsibilty. I live in freaking Massachusetts, probably the most anti-Trump state in the union. Take a trip to any walmart and watch the crowd behavior. Sure there's the Tommybrady12 guys in there but Ill bet the majority havent voted Republican in their lives. Social distancing is the last thing on theirs mins apparently.

Massachusetts is *far* from the "most anti-Trump state in the union". I mean, that's a fairly easy myth to disprove by looking at a little bit of data and having a perspective that goes beyond the immediate place you reside.

In 2016, 60% voted for Clinton; 35% voted for Trump. So, doing some clumsy math, just over half of these crowds you're referring voted for a Democrat; 1 out of every 3 people voted for Trump. Hardly the 'anti-Trump liberal mob' you are implying exists.

Read this today from ZH and thought it was pretty insightful:

At some point, the country is going to have to open up the supply chains and take the risks to let the market work to provide food — or people will engage in panic buying, hoarding and using any means to get what they need for themselves and their families.

Reports of folks in this heavily armed nation stocking up on guns and ammunition suggest a widespread apprehension of what may be coming.

If the medical crisis is allowed to induce an economic crisis that leads to a social crisis, the American political system, our democratic system, may itself be severely tested.

Lest we forget: In the greatest crisis in this nation’s history, in which the issue was whether the American Union would be severed into two nations, Abraham Lincoln suspended the right of habeas corpus, shut down state legislatures, closed newspapers, jailed journalists and was prepared to arrest the chief justice. And for the dictatorial measures he took, and for waging the bloodiest war in U.S. history, against fellow Americans, Lincoln is now regarded by many as our greatest president.

You are living in fantasy land. There is no one who will order 350 million citizens to stay at home and practice social distancing. Only if the President declares martial law...

Just need someone to tell Trump a great president, Abraham Lincoln, declared martial law for the good of the country. They even put his head on a mountain.

All we would need is some kind of slogan.

Maybe something like "Make America Healthy Again"?

India in all-out lockdown, and they’re more than 2X the size of the US at 1.2 billion population.

On a side note, I’ve never met an Indian person I didn’t like. Love their culture and values, and the general cultural sense of humor.
