Nice to see filth, homeless and drug infested counties around SF have basically installed Marshall law.... that's what happens when Progressive policies allow unfettered drug use, crime, homeless encampments....

I take it you haven’t read much of ;)thisthread.
That is for SURE, buddy ;) At my age and this situation too much stress and frustration wouldn't be good for me. And a quick peek at this thread told me any long term involvement in it would be a bad idea. ;)

I can't take it anymore and I can't stand it! It's "martial law". Martial, martial, martial, martial, martial.

Sure numb nuts. It has nothing to do with the massive Asian/Chinese connected population and the frequent travel and collaboration with China by educated professionals in the area (mostly engineers and PhDs). Must be the homeless and downtrodden causing it through needle sharing and dirt smearing, though. Glad you’ve educated yourself.

But what if the law was Marshall’s idea?

Oh look, Mr. "Y2K scare" is chiming in again with a few nasty grunts. FYI, San Francisco is approximately 3,000 miles from the rock you live under here in Mass. You should be safe from those filthy, homeless drug-infested people stressing your minuscule pea brain. Hate away, meathead.

That's quite racist of you to blame the Chinese

Ok Mr Fan of cities that literally have SH!T MAPS bc the the cities Progressive policies allow for public defecation, injection, etc..and city cannot afford to clean said fecal matter so it sits there for DAYS....not to mention shoplifting, property crime among others...you must be a card carrying members of the Chesa Boudin fan club

This is why we can’t have a pofo thread around here. No one can have any civil discourse

You're going to pop a vessel, genius.

Was Marco Rubio your English teacher or something? I mean way to prove the stereotypes right there, bud.

RW agreed with this? Say it ain’t so.

When are these STUPID F*CKS in the administration going to REALIZE that the only way to get this economic crash addressed is bring some damn leadership competency to fighting the virus and assuage fear?! Under "tremendous control" my ass. No minuscule interest rate cut or talk of a payroll tax cut will help jack shyt. It's a damn Chinese fire drill.

Okay, he did good today the following ways:

1) He said the market will work itself out. He seemed like he WANTED to cheerlead etc., and here and there he did, in an eventual way. But he seemed, for today, to have declared it's about health.

2) He answered the question "how long is this outbreak thing gonna take" correctly, event though you could tell it wasn't his first choice. Great "indicator" in his response to the question. He set up a "not only but also," where we'd not only get through it with few deaths... but...

... and then where there was supposed to be an "also," which you knew would be followed by "this will be the fastest ever virus beatdown in history," he mysteriously maintained control, and concluded "...but they're telling me July or August."

You could see him realize mid-answer that his rah-rah inherently contradicted the curve flattening language (and chart) which say that it has to take longer to kill fewer people.

3) said "July/August" and didn't try to spin it

4) admitted we're going to have a recession.

So they've gotten one outbreak under control, the ones that keep happening during the pressers, at least for today.

There's probably no way to possibly rescue the economy. Manufacturing was already in a recession and the only thing keeping the economy afloat was retail and services. And, well, you're about to see the bottom fall out on both of those.

Now we want to achieve things as a nation that are at odds with maximum "busy-ness." The stuff we usually measure ain't gonna work. The bottom is out of the DOW and you tell me how it's coming back if you can't say "help the economy, go to a movie, go to the mall, let's have another cup of coffee, let's have another piece of pie."

This is the isolation crash. We might get a reprieve in high summer, but probably have to be wary again in fall/winter... Restaurants/plays/movies... museums, bars, parties, sports... dude we are going to be bored into poverty this time.

If 09 looked like uncharted territory wtf is this one lol... eh well, here we goooooo.

What they need is to generate some kind if impression that they are addressing the virus situation with a cogent plan and not continue to LIE about it!:mad::mad::mad: We don't need Orange Clown to get in front of a microphone on national TV and announce it's under "tremendous control," then a minute later have Anthony Fauci say the worst is yet to come. WTF kind of "leadership" is that?! This B.S. is intolerable and things are unraveling. At this point I'm pulling for a military coup (just kidding ... sort of).

I was more confident today than when the market was shooting up 2000 points Friday. Fishes rot from the head. At least until November, this is the guy who's in charge (he better not use this as the reichstag fire that keeps him in power...) It is comforting that for this brief, shining moment, he actually got it. I think.

But what if the law was Marshall’s idea?

Faulk that.

You are wasting your time.

Thankfully, Massachusetts only has 11 electoral votes...
