How in the hell does the owner let this trade pass? Like how? This trade makes absolutely no sense at all for Houston. This is arguably the best receiver in football.

Yep.. No sense at all. Dealing a disgruntled player who wants his contract redone 2 years into a 5 year extension. A player who has been all but demanding that the team sign another player just to placate him.

They get someone in Johnson who they are hoping can replace some of Lamar Miller's production. They get a 2nd round pick that is near the top of the 2nd round. And they get a 4th round pick in next years draft. All while freeing up 11M this year to work on a new contract for their start QB. Who is going to command $30M+ based on the deals that Tannehill and Dak Prescott are getting.

Tampa just makes a lot of sense to me. Their defense is at least average and might be better than average and their weapons are great. Plus they’d probably add Brown, who Arians already has coached. And they would still have money to burn.
With player personnel on offense, it’s a no brainer for Brady.

However, there’s no ring to Brady with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Brady to LA has a better ring to it and a better place to live.

Brady and AB to LA.

It’s not like the Pats were a premier super power before Brady and Bill got them to where they are today. I don’t know how much that matters.

I know nothing about this poster but . . .

Now it’s being reported that the Thuney tag was with the intent of signing him long term. Are we going to trade Mason, pay both the guards top end $$ or is it all fluff?

I think the Saints would be nuts to let Bridgewater walk. I'd choose him over Hill.

So, the saints have $5M of cap room. You would cut so that they can pay Bridgewater $20M a year to be a backup? And further, you believe that eh saints are NUTS to consider not paying Bridgewater $2)M (or more)?

It’s just what they say when a player gets franchise tagged. They said they were looking forward to working with Matt Cassel after they tagged him, too.

Correct. But the difference is he has a choice now.

Plus, him hanging out more in LA will give him more opportunities if he wants to kick start his production company.

Pats getting left in the dust with all these moves.

Brady is a goner.

Basically, Hayden for a 2nd.

I don't know much about BAL's roster, but I guess BAL didn't want to pay him?

It's because they were 3 deep at starting quality TEs with Andrews and Boyle. Hurst still has 2 years left on his rookie deal. It's about being able to pay others like Jackson and Brown.

what kind of clown reporting is this, so they pulled out of signing Brady to sign a player they say has already signed with Chicago. The ****

Shaq Lawson going from Buffalo to Miami

Makes sense.

Hayden for a second.
Hopkins for a second.

They’re the same caliber.

Haven't seen any confirmation that Bridgewater has finalized a deal with the Bears.

Hate the ratbirds but love what they’re doing. A second for a guy that’s been somewhat of a disappointment.

What happened to Chicago and Bridgewater
