Deus Irae should understand you were being kind and that Patriots fans in reality are given more benefit of the doubt. Of course this board is PRIMARILY for PATRIOTS fans and when push comes to shove, it is opposing fans will be given walking papers before any Pats fan.

Which is the way it is on every fan board...and the way it SHOULD BE

Let us call Deus Irae, the defender of all people!

Right or wrong

No. If I think someone is wrong, I'll let them know. You were wrong, Smessy was wrong and several others were wrong, including at least one Redskin poster. It happens sometimes, but it's not fair to attack a team's fans just because they want to believe that their team has a chance. This place is run as an open board, not as a Koolaiders only forum. That means that it's going to get rowdy on occasions, but there's not need for rampant stupidity of the sort that was going on here. And someone who was crying about that sort of thing happening to him on the San Diego board should be first in line to prevent it from happening here, rather than being among those acting like homegrown trolls.

He's entitled to his opinion.

He, however, leaves out the part of the Redskins fan on that other thread posting that he liked the humor of the Michael Jackson line, and the fact that me and Redskins XLII are on the verge of setting up a round of 18 this Sunday.

.....other than that, he's right on the money.

Low blow since you know nothing about that incident. You should do your homework a little more thoroughly. Let me remind you, the Chargers board stated, "Banned for defending a cheater" and if you don't possess the logic to see the difference, I can't help you.

I spend a lot of time on opposing fans sites, but have never and would never call their fans cokky & arrogant. Or insult them in any way since I know I'll be banned for it. If you want ot defend or accept such comments, you're out of line...and wrong.

Fact check: Patriots Reign never complained about negativity or criticism on the SD board. He complained about being BANNED for his opinions.

Do you see ANY censorship of these Redskins fans here? There is none, unless they become overtly vulgar, namecall an individual poster or delve in politics.

Evidently, you are mixing up sharply worded differing opinions with banning. That seems to be where you are having a misunderstanding.

No, I'm not. I was on the thread when it was happening, in case you've forgotten. And, I didn't say you called them "cokky & arrogant".

what? i don't think anyone, including me, knows what you're saying here.

Actually, Deus Irae conveniently misses that "****y and arrogant" comment in favor of the "spineless fanbase" comment, but hey, he's allowed to pick and choose.......and I'm allowed to point it out. It's all good.

In the meantime, he should notice that the Redskins poster was not edited or deleted or banned for calling the New England fanbase ****y and arrogant, so it seems that he is holding the Patriots posters to a different standard.

You got my back! Thanks

It's all come down to executions and playmaking. If brady open the drive with a td, then he figure out the 'skins D a good amount.

I believe we will go out more balance attack rather than pass play like we did in miami.

Please.... you know that you were over the top and even mentioned that you were 'toning it down' or something to that effect.

Yes, and that was the right thing to do. So what is your point then?

Of coures we're held to a different standard. When I'm a guest in someone else's house, I don't have the same rights as my host. I am expected to act like a guest...this goes WAY back in time and is practiced on all boards shmessy

...just as it is here. I'm in my home here while Redskins, Colts, Dolphins, Jets, etc. are guests.

Maybe I'm reading you wrong and you're agreeing with me. If so...NEVER MIND! I'm confused & spending too much time on this...

What a crock. There's no question that Patsox23 WAS ****y and arrogant in his post responding to the OP, and that's where this all started. Or are you now going to try to claim that:

I think it's adorable that some of you think you can win - it's amazing to me that people SEE what they see from the Pats (and say what they say about the Pats) and then STILL don't get how freaking GOOD they are. The Redskins have ABSOLUTELY NO SHOT of winning on Sunday. They MAYBE have a shot at covering.

Seriously. Just stop. But thanks for being respectful in your language and tone.

Was all about humble pie and generous hospitality?

The line about ****iness and arrogance came immediately after the above post. I'm not holding anyone to a different standard. And, much like your "fanbase" argument where you claimed that wasn't a personal attack, the poster who responded with ****y/arrogant used the phrasing "Pats fans have crossed it." and did not make it personal either by your method of defining the word.

At the same time, guests are allowed to evaluate their hosts' hospitality.

I appauld both moderators like shmessy for not deleting posts and posters like Deus Irae for asking for a little decency.

God knows we get enough trolls at this board, we don't have to go creating them out of new posters.

Well, if you think I'm being too easy on our guests and Deus Irae feels I'm being too hard on them, then I must be doing OK!

RAAAAAAAAAAWRSSS!

You miss one important thing: I never said the Redskin poster was out of line for calling Pats fans "****y and arrogant". Just as I was in my rights to call the Redskins fanbase "spineless" for monetarily supporting Snyder. The redskins poster's critique was fine and so was mine. We had equal rights to make those statements. Evidently you don't feel that way. Too bad.
