I think what us lay people are missing is that the epidemiologists are concerned about how fast this thing spreads. The best way to combat that is to minimize human interactions.
yeah lets listen to this guy instead...
This is my time!I think what us lay people are missing is that the epidemiologists are concerned about how fast this thing spreads. The best way to combat that is to minimize human interactions.
He met the guy at his level a la Harry Truman, Ronald Reagan and others. Might be a tad coarse but not necessarily "unpresidential."Plus his combative exchange with the auto worker over gun rights was about as un-presidential as you can get
I'm not Trump fan but Uncle Joe was out of line.
Are you an epidemiologist? It's the crisis I've been training for my entire life.
I don't think Truman or Ronnie threatened to slap a voter. He met the guy at his level a la Harry Truman, Ronald Reagan and others. Might be a tad coarse but not necessarily "unpresidential."
Not sure if bad is the correct descriptor here but inept in preparing for and current handling of the situation is pretty fitting.Seems the real takeaways from this thread are the world is ending, and orange man bad
You're right. I wasn't aware of the face-slap part, just the "full of sh*t" quote. A heated moment but he did walk away. I can see how it's hard in that position to keep your cool 100 percent of the time.I don't think Truman or Ronnie threatened to slap a voter.

As an avowed racist and xenophobe, it depends on the color of his or her skin.Who cares about what a skin doctor thinks.
Social distancing isn’t hysteria, these are measures simply trying to prolong the transmission of the virus so the capacity of the healthcare system isn’t overwhelmed in a short period of time.
If you have to seriously hospitalize 10 million people, if you can quarantine effectively to spread that out over 6, 9 or 12 months, you are able to use the current capacity to its full extent for many treatment cycles. Put simply:
Here is a good rough over view with an infectious disease specialist.

Just to be awfully clear, this isn’t going away in a week, or a month. We are just seeing the tip of the tip of the iceberg, maybe a small fraction of a percent so far. Don’t be low on information, this is an event that we haven’t seen anything similar to in our lifetimes.
Yea I was ok with the full of s**t part and the other thing he said. I forget. I'm ok w/ politicians being feisty if someone is misrepresenting their views. You're right. Their greed is clouding their judgment. Kudos to the NBA.They have to, it’s insane they’re discussing it. They share arenas with the NBA.
As a gun owner, I don't agree with everything he wants to do and have questions but I don't think he wants to end the 2nd Amendment. Maybe he does if guarantees he becomes president..who knows.Except Uncle Joe's position was not being misrepresented at all...
The only thing he’s cured or could cure is male pattern baldness. They’ve criticized everything the guy has done for 4 years now. Why should this be any different? So it’s tough for intelligent people to take a single thing the TDS crowd says seriously. He could personally cure the virus tomorrow and they’d say “why didn’t he do it sooner?!?”
