The Buccaneers actually had the 6th greatest run defense of all time according to DVOA. They were behind

1991 Eagles
2015 Jets
1998 Chargers

They also had the 12th best passing defensive DVOA, and 5th overall in defense last season. Winston made their normal numbers look a lot worse than what they were. If they use some draft picks to help the D even more, and shore up the O-line, that would be a really good team with Brady on it. I’m sure he would love throwing to Evans, Godwin, Howard, and Brate.

I think Tom having control over the roster is a stretch. I think if Tom stumped for AB Ariens and Licht would take that into account but in terms of years, $ and overall team fit they would still have final say.

Agree, lots of undesirable neighborhoods in Tampa, however, I'm sure the Bradys can afford a beachfront home someplace.

I haven't been back to Orlando since I moved north. But Orlando was always a day visit place for me, anyway. There's no way in hell I'd have put up with living there. But I could see the Brady bunch deciding to live somewhere along the travel line between Tampa and Orlando for a couple of years.
