8-8 will be a fun season.

That's optimistic. I think we could be looking at a season like 2000 based on our strength of schedule. I really do hope we go with Stidham if he is ready as I would rather give him a shot to see what he has then trade for Dalton or sign Mariota.

Also our prime time games probably go down to 1 or 2. Not that I mind as I hate staying up. LOL

If Brady leaves I pray he goes to a team the Patriots DO NOT play next season. I don't think I could stand the media circus around that game...I get the impression 75% of the people on this board weren't fans during the whole Kraft/Parcells thing and the first "Tuna Bowl". The media was insufferable - it'll be 10X worse if Brady goes to a team on the Pats 2020 schedule.

I honestly don't think that team wins if that happens, BB knows Brady too well. And we've seen how former coordinators have been able to really slow down our offense in years past.

I’m not buying these rumors until it actually happens. Stidham could be ir but i feel he’s not ready. The schedule is brutal for next season. Maybe brady finally takes the money and decides to go elsewhere but elsewhere nothing is guaranteed. He has dominated the afc east. Some other team and division won’t be as easy. Just be careful what you wish for on both sides of the table! For the pats and brady.

I wouldn’t mind that but it won’t happen. They will try and go 6-10 or 8-8. If brady leaves i would see if i could get a first rounder for gilmore.

Basically what it says is that its natural for any employee to look elsewhere if other companies are showing an interest in you and your current boss hasn't discussed your future. In other words, people shouldn't panic just yet with all the Brady leaving talk.

The Pats went 11-5 with Matt Friggen Cassel, and 3-1 with Jimmy G/Jacoby Brissett, so that's 14-6, a .700 win percentage, that translates to 11-5 over a 16 game season.

IF Brady leaves, and Thuney leaves, and Van Noy leaves, that leaves a lot of cap money to fill holes (both offensively AND defensively). My preference is that he stays, but IF he leaves, with BB and Kraft running the show, I don't think the Pats will become a bad team. With Belichick and Kraft, they will always be competitive.

Talk about seeing the world through Rose colored glasses...

He dropped back to pass five times, was sacked once, threw a pick 6, and had 2 completions. There is no way you can look at that sample size and think he has "promise". Stidham is in no way shape or form a NFL caliber QB. He was barely a decent college QB.
