The Tom Brady rumor thread

If Brady leaves I pray he goes to a team the Patriots DO NOT play next season. I don't think I could stand the media circus around that game...I get the impression 75% of the people on this board weren't fans during the whole Kraft/Parcells thing and the first "Tuna Bowl". The media was insufferable - it'll be 10X worse if Brady goes to a team on the Pats 2020 schedule.
I remember that

If this is the case I doubt Bill picks a QB like Jordan Love in the draft. It sounds like it's Stidham going forward if in fact Brady is gone. I have a feeling the Giants and Titans are going to be his strongest suitors outside NE.

I never got the Giants rumors. Sure an elite back and maybe a good young WR but a makeshift offensive line and god forbid he get off to a rough start and the crowd turns on him and begs for more Daniel Jones

Joe Judge is probably pushing the Giants management to consider him. Not sure it makes sense for Brady though. To me its either NE or Tennessee.

His dad said it was not going to end well...and it looks like this will come true. Sad....
If he is gone the Pats become irrelevant for the first time in 20 tears. Imagine the humiliation if Jets finish ahead of Pats.

Interesting timing to tweet pro Stidham news.
It means they ran into his agent and asked for an update. This is the one week each year when reporters have the easiest access to agents, so the majority of anonymous reports this week are agent driven.

Looks like this, looks like that, looks like the other thing. Here's a sign, there's a sign, everywhere a sign sign.

Can’t see how the Giants are possibly a better situation.

They’re not unless he wants the market for TB12 & Giselle stuff.

Down here in Nashville it’s starting to dominate the sports talk, even more so since the Darlington comments this morning. They aren’t saying it’s happening, but sounds like serious conversations are being had. Who knows.

If the NYG sign TB12 then I would gladly trade our #1 and a sweetener for Daniel Jones.

I think Daniel Jones would fit well in our offense under McDaniels.

Assuming Tom leaves, I can't help but think if the situation would be different if Bill went out and got more offensive talent in 2018 and 2019. Really, in 2018 it was Gronk and Edelman (and still surprised they pulled off the SB). In 2019 it was just Edelman.

Yawn. Until it's the start of free agency or he posts on Insta a Thank You to the Pats and Fans, it's all just speculation. Just like it was last week, last month, and last season.

Giants would be stupid to sign TB12. Jones looks really promising and signing TB would slow Jones' development.

Darlington is not an insider and makes up crap constantly that blurs the line between news and his guesses.

Guregian literally just yesterday reported a fake story that Brady was meeting with the Patriots.

If you want to believe these two clowns, good luck with that.

This joke of a “report” is the only shred linking the Patriots and Giants. Giardi forcing the issue until he gets the answers he wants. Then other reporters piggyback on this tweet and eventually call it an “insider report.” Probably a hot dog vendor wearing a Giants hat.

It's odd that Joe Judge is being noncommittal to Jones...either he's acting like a tough guy coach or he's seriously thinking of signing Brady.

The latest Herald article has a quote from an anonymous source who is pretty clearly Don Yee, followed shortly by no comment on the record from Don Yee. What a mess.

Darlington apparently has a close relationship with Brady and is one of the few reporters who has been allowed into Brady's inner-circle (relatively speaking).

Not sure if this relationship isn't as close as Darlington presents it, but I believed the way he described his relationship with Brady on Curran's podcast.

Again, maybe they're not as close as Darlington presents it, but I have a hard time believing he's outright lying about being close to Brady in some sense.

Who knows. Maybe it would if they didn't have the injuries on the 0-line, AB doesn't go nuclear and they have a competent TE they get past MIA and TN. They'd still face the Chiefs, though. Personally I felt it was the Chiefs's year..

What was the quote?

If he signs Brady, I wonder if judge would trade Jones to us as a parting gift?
